I let the native jumping spiders free range around my apartment. It's always a treat when one of them pops up to say "hi". They are just too freakin' cute!
Aha I got a few zebras that roam in my room as they eat the excess fruit flies but yes love these little guys have 6 regals now and a tyrelli unfortunately the pixie I got died like day after which sucked but these guys doing really well
Great vlog mate I tell you a great vlogger to follow as your quite new like me he has helped so much he been doing for forty 40 pluss so he nows his thing like water bowls add clean pebbles to bowl they can climb out this name is Daves beastly room he so helpful hope this helps one thing I agree with you is big tanks I have 30 big plastic tanks I like to live in big room not a match box so well done there keep up great vlogs
Clay balls are good that's what soaks the excess water up. I always use clay balls a mesh layer then my substrate mix, moss, leaf litter, plants. You can get some good bits of cork bark in bulk bags from the soider shop too which is handy. I like the little plants that stick to the glass with a suction cup for my jumping spiders.
Yeah was going to go with clay balls but prefer the small pebbles a bit prettier I have moved phillip into a different tank now and now I have loads of jumpers 😂😂
@CreaturesExotic tbh I only use them in my tarantula and geckos I don't see the need for them with my jumpers as the tanks aren't fully bioactive anyway. It's fun though putting those enclosures together isn't it!
What tank is this? Might be good for my velvet spiders. Also, my jumpers really like ledges on the walls of their tanks. They don’t really use the 3D printed ones but they love the ones I make by breaking up pieces of cork bark and glueing magnets on. ☺️
The Jack Daniels glass is essential to jumping spider happiness. Just don't let it drive.
Phillip is a crazy drinker not gonna lie 😂
