Listen, I have been an AC/DC fan since 1980, and first heard "Back in Black" when I was 10. I love Brian, he's a great guy, but let's be honest: his voice has been shot since about 1988. He can still sing up high, but there's no power behind it. Axl can still sing high AND there is the power behind his voice, plus he's exactly what Bon was in one way: an outlaw rock n roller. There is no way in hell that Brian can sing "Given The Dog A Bone" or some of the other songs that they brought back when Axl was fronting them.

When i first heard Axl was filling in for Brian I had my doubts even though Axls one of my favorite singers I didnt think his vocal style would go well with ACDC. I have to say he did a fantastic job. Not too many people could have pulled it off.
I am really taken back at how well Axel an AC/DC have joined. They have that special blend going on an it overflows of greatness. I wasn't really a big fan of Axel even though I knew he could sing, This is the right spot for him an also for AC/DC. I've grew up all around bands starting in the 70's. I've probably been to over 124 live concerts in my life, I will say as a far as replacement to a band this ranks number1.. for sure. beautiful!!

Thank you for posting this. I was there that night. I am huge AC/DC fan. I was 12 when I started listening to them and I am 48. I missed Brian a lot that night , and I still would like to see him back. Having said that, I give a lot of credit to Axl who did an awesome job. He learned all those songs in a short time ,he has a powerful voice . I give him credit no doubt about it. I do not regret going to that concert at all.
Axel sounds like you took Bon and Brian's voices and combined them, I must admit when I first heard of this collaboration I was like WTF is AC/DC Thinking, but it is much better than I had imagined...I look at it like the old Brian or Bon debate, one isn't better than the other, they are just different, this too is different but good in it's own right. Come on Guys!!!! Axel and AC/DC are doing a Epic Show to all of us! Unluckly and luckly this is happening. I Love Brian he is a great singer like Bon was and they will always being part of History. No doubt i want Brian Back but i confess Axel gave new energy to the band. I believe many good news will come. Angus still young and Rocking! Lets there be Rock!

Axl showed some respect to the brand and he sounded great. Loved the set list. Must have been my tenth ac dc show over the last 20 years and I don't have one bad thing to say. Hope axl brings g n r to south Florida and hope Brian comes back to touring. Thank you for the indoor show!!! Sounds so much better than pavilion shows!

@@renequintanilla2537 technically the third as the statement initially didn't indicate the chronological order of said song to the sequential it has performed since 1982, including mitigating evidence the said song may or not have been played at previous performances,hence original comment didn't infer any evidence of said song being performed either Mr Rose or for that fact Mr B Johnson up to said point,but if said song was performed only once since said date 1982 the night before it would have made that stated night the second which would make this the third performance of said barring uncorrelated evidence to prove differ

Cliff is done after this tour. He informed Angus that he is going to retire once this tour is over. So If they plan to keep going they will need a new Bass player.

Axl does a great job here. I thought this was going to be a disaster but he pulled it off and sounds great. Good for him. His reputation needed a feel good story IMO.
I think Axl is doing a damn good job of filling in for Brian. It AIN"T an easy job. Can you imagine screaming 2 hours almost every night?

saw em in Atlanta a day or two after this , my ears were ringing for two days. I'm guessing Axl is a huge Bon fan, if you take out the songs from Back in Black , they only did bout 5 Brian songs vs all the Bon era stuff they pulled out
