Buyer's empty revision scam is going on.. One buyer after the final delivery, he simply clicked the revision button and he mentioned in the message that he would share the revision details shortly. But he did not come back. I asked him to send the revision details after 12 hours. No reply from him. Again after 24 hours, I sent a reminder message to send those revision details.
In the meantime I thoroughly searched internet about this empty revision. I got shocked about the bad experiences of other freelancers on fiver. One seller delivered a $1000 project after few months of work and then the buyer put an empty revision. The seller re-delivered the project files because the buyer didn't mention what revision he wanted. As per fiver policy re-delivering the same files or empty delivery is against fiver terms of service. so the buyer reported the seller to fiverr customer support and the order got cancelled. The buyer got the refund and the project for free. But, the seller account got striked. There are other sellers, they also faced the same issue and they have two, three orders in their queue which are in revision status after years. So, what happens when the order is in revision status is the money is with the fiver. If seller re-deliver or empty deliver his account will be striked. If the seller cancel the order he loses the money. If the buyer did not come back with his actual revisions the money will stay with fiverr indefinitely. I have checked this with fiver customer support. They said there is no time limit or deadline for how long the order will be in revision status even if the buyer didn't share any revision details. So beware of these guys. Also if any seller worked with this kind of buyers they should definitely mention about the empty revision in their Review. That will help other sellers
Hey man, true story...It's only happened to me once a similar situation on an $1800 order. There is a little bit more to the story which i've gone over before on a video with Mike Nardi. Long story short fiverr actually paid from their pocket half of the money $900 and eventually the order was cancelled. Looking back though, i would have happily left this in revision for months and out waited the client. And that's probably what i'd do if that happens again. Fiverr CS are not much help in this situation. But the fact is they can't automatically accept the order as technically i guess they would be stealing the clients money. But there should be better rules in place and fiverr should have a dispute team who are the final judge i believe.

CS asked me if I want them to contact the buyer on my behalf. I said no, as it would make the buyer to leave a negative review or cancellation. I just listed my first gig on fiverr. I want your honest opinion. I can get about 20 people to purchase my gig. But will fiverr find out ? Perhaps through the source that the buyers found the gig from which is my shared link . I would really appreciate your input. Thanks 🙏
100% don’t do it. Not that many anyway. Maybe 3-5, but not all at once and have them start a proper conversation with you like a client would. Deliver some actual work too. You will start getting messages from clients sooner than you think so don’t try to rush it :)

This guy speaks about 7k impression and FOURTEEN orders. I mean, that is a 0,2% of conversion of impressions into customers, like wtf! If you are not seen by everybody and spammed everywhere, you are not going to get even 2-3 orders a month, this looks a lot like a scam where you pay for visibility to get customers, but if you don't pay, no one will ever see or buy your gig!
It doesn’t really matter, just as look as you have the good key words in there. But remember like on youtube, if the title is too long customers won’t see it all until they click on it. So make sure the important parts are at the start
Within reason, but Fiverr are very hot on this. So if you do decide to do this, don’t abuse it and make sure you’re doing it legit and delivery a piece of work they ask for

So, if I do decide to freelance on Fiverr, and the client purchases my template (I have a template store) what do they buy it through, Paypal or a certain platform only Fiver uses? Can friends and family be used? I know it's technically for giving gifts, but at least this way I wouldn't get cheated out of the work I've done. I know a friend who did a lot of work and received money through PayPal, only for PayPal to give it back to the client when the job was done. Hence, why I prefer Friends and Family!

Ive been on a Fiverr for 6 months and nothing.
Then something is definitely wrong! I’d suggest looking at your gig and your competition.
