They did this acoustic concert / album (5 Man Acoustical Jam) as a nod to the band 5 Man Electrical Band that first recorded Signs. They broke out the electric guitar about halfway through Love Song, that was mandatory! The rest was acoustic. It's one of my favorite Tesla albums.
This is a cover of the original song written and performed by The 5 Man Electric Band back in 1971. I'm a new subscriber and 65 year old hippie and rock n roll relic and it's great to see young men like yourselves enjoying the same music that I listened to in my youth. ✌️ I have a request, could you guys PLEASE try to react to Rory Gallagher performing Bullfrog Blues on The Old Grey Whistle Test video 🙏. It's an incredible live performance and I promise that you won't be disappointed. 🎸🔥
You should listen to their their masterpiece record "Mechanical Resonance". Every song is great. My favorites are number 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, and 11, but the whole albums rocks. 1. "EZ Come EZ Go" Frank Hannon, Jeff Keith, Troy Luccketta, Tommy Skeoch, Brian Wheat 3:33 2. "Cumin' Atcha Live" Hannon, Keith, Wheat 4:25 3. "Gettin' Better" Hannon, Keith 3:20 4. "2 Late 4 Love" Keith, Skeoch, Hannon, Luccketta, Wheat 3:50 5. "Rock Me to the Top" Keith, Skeoch 3:38 6. "We're No Good Together" Hannon, Keith, Luccketta 5:15 Side two No. Title Writer(s) Length 7. "Modern Day Cowboy" Hannon, Keith, Skeoch 5:19 8. "Changes" Hannon, Keith, Luccketta, Skeoch, Wheat 5:02 9. "Little Suzi" (Ph.D. cover) Jim Diamond, Tony Hymas 4:55 10. "Love Me" Hannon, Keith, Wheat 4:15 11. "Cover Queen" Hannon, Keith 4:32 12. "Before My Eyes" Hannon, Keith, Luccketta, Skeoch 5:25
Was lucky enough to be at the Trocadero that night in Philly. It was a five city acoustic tour and was absolutely the best acoustic show I have seen to this day. Also was lucky enough to get hustled out the back door two weeks later at the Trixter Heavens Edge show as the cops came in to try to shit the place down for underage drinking.
Tesla has so many good ones. Hard to go wrong there. You might react to their song "Song and Emotion" this song is a tribute to Steve Clark, the guitarist from Def Leppard who died on January 8, 1991. This one of course was a cover and they did another cover of a CCR song "Lodi"
Great COVER for Tesla the band. Another cover Tesla did is "Little Suzi on the up" original by PhD. Tesla did some changes to the song and made it better. Watch the original video PhD and the Tesla cover video and judge for yourself after watching both .
I would like to introduce you to a few more new suggestions to check out, if interested. Joe Walsh was a member of a very popular band called the " Eagles-Desperado- dvd hell freezes over 1994" but he began his career in the late 60's with another band called "Joe Walsh & The James Gang Band" but they split up in 1972 and he went on to form another band "Joe Walsh Rocky Moutain Way" (Live) this is a live performance of Joe Walsh and his band Barnstorm. Joe Walsh is considered one of the G.O.A.T guitarists of the 60's - 80's era. I tend to listen more to the "Eagles" to be honest because I'm a big Eagles fan, but I still enjoy going back to listen to Barnstorm, because Joe Walsh was just a Beast on the guitar. lol and if you enjoy a good guitar solo then Joe Walsh has plenty to listen too.
Since y'all like their solos, while you should do the original, check out Love Song from this same concert (album). The whole concert was acoustic, but they did the solo electric for effect on that one song.
I have been enjoying your reactions to some of the music I listened to as a teenager lol....oldies but goodies. the good ones hold up over time don't they? Since you seem to have been enjoying Van Halen and Def Leppard, there are a few by both bands that I would love to see you react to if possible sometime. Van Halen's "Don't Tell Me (What Love Can Do), and "Dreams". For Def Leppard, "Rock Of Ages" and either "God's Of War" or "Animal". Thank you!
Hey, if you guys ever get time, I got one for ya. (Autograph - Turn up the Radio) *WARNING* Do not drive while listining to that song. you'll see why...lol

They did this entire show acoustic for a different feel....recorded it for the live album that followed....really good stuff
They broke out the electric guitar for Love Song. Great album.

Five Man Acoustical Jam was really the start of the whole "Unplugged" thing...Excellent Album 🤘
Love this 5 man acoustical jam....
Love this album! This is a great, great cover song they did.
Brian is a huge Paul McCartney fan, that is his replica bass of Paul's used in the Beatles day's.
They have one of the best unplugged albums made
It is an excellent album. 👍
Underrated band

Tesla did this acoustic show and album. After that MTV did the MTV Unplugged series.

The death of Steve Clark is a horrible tragedy. He was so freaking talented!! It's hard to believe he has been gone so long (1991). So Sad. RIP Steve.

Check out Great White
Awesome reaction as always 💕 I love this song, one of my favorites.

Bass..is like Paul McCartney's bass
Now I wanna go listen to Edison's Medicine.
Try Dream Theater; Count of Tuscany or Stream of Consciousness or Porcupine tree; Blackest eyes
Meat Loaf - Bat Out of Hell please!
Have you guys reacted to Jackyl? Lumberjack would be a good start. 🔥❤️
Tesla is so cool!
I see they played the version that left out a "certain" word.
Try Tesla's 2 late 4 love and the song Changes
How about some Mighty Mighty Bosstones? So Sad to Say or The Impression that I Get.
Amazing. 👍
Lady Luck!
❤️🔥
This song is a cover song
Did you even listen to the lyrics?
❤️🔥👏👏
Tesla is WAY better live and plugged in than this. It’s still a cool rendition though I prefer amps with my metal over acoustic.✌️🤘🖖🥁🎤🎸🎹
This was a cover song...MTv Unpluuged if I remember correctly. Album is excellent.
