Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Lumberjack! My husband and I took a walk down Powder Mill Hollow Rd. last week and saw a dead deer close to the road in the woods across the street from the reservoir in someone's yard. I'm guessing it was the deer that the hunters were looking for and couldn't find. They certainly wouldn't want it now! We smelled it before we saw it. Yuck. Anyhow, thanks for the hike! It was nice to see what was across the lake!
@EventyrsorenDenmark thank you for your kind words of encouragement from Denmark, which is a beautiful land in its own right. We are glad that you found value in our journey.
The lake is beautiful 😊 I like the crunches of the leaves on your hike. It is sad to see trash thrown around on the ground like that. The view from the bridge of the autumn colors around the lake is so pretty 😊
We had a reservoir that was private for many years and luckily made public not too long ago . Dave loves to go fishing there. That looks like a beautiful place
It's always one person out of thousands that places like these have to be cautious. I am glad that Dave has a nice spot to fish and enjoy nature! Thanks for watching and supporting us!
I like a hike without a trail, that was some nice exploration, reminds me how I'd like to get into birding. I appreciate your description of floral you come by.
Thanks, Jeremy! The birds are most definitely a focus for us. Concerning describing flora, that is a work in progress🤣. We are grateful that you took the time to watch and comment!
What a wonderfully pretty area! Lovely shore line and I even see you have plenty of Canadians hanging around. My goodness, I know those tumbles all to well. If Otis was there he'd lick your wounds and think none of the least of you. lol Take good care and have a wonderful weekend!
Contrary to what you might hear, citizens of the USA don't mind migrants who enter legally or by wing. Otis is the best! Thanks for watching and commenting!

I was mesmerized by the views also! It was a truly great hike except the tumble😁. Thank you for coming along with us!
That's great that this is open to the public. We have a reservoir near me that they have fenced off and I always think it would be next to explore.
Green Lane is another reservoir nearby that has extensive hiking as a feature. Thanks for watching!

another really nice video...a hidden gem for sure.
Looks like you had the place to yourself!
Thanks for sharing, LumberJack!
We saw a hunter, firefighter, and some cars, and that was it. Almost had it to ourselves. Thanks for watching!

You should include a warning that there will be a 4K close-up on your face. I got quite a startle. 😂Just kidding! I'm glad you didn't get hurt.
😆! I was definitely not hired for my face it was my body. No major boo boos sustained during this video. Your support is appreciated!
Well, glad your OK. Try to stay out of trouble ...will ya?
Well, Dave, that's a pretty big ask for an explorer like me, but I will heed your warning. Thanks for watching!
