Yes I want a video to know how to mix orchestral percussion please❤
+1
Yeees!
Amazing video! The Tom Holkenborg Library sounds crazy, watched his process of creating it a while ago...
DOM you are always smiling. It is one of the reasons I love your channel. Love the percussion video!
❤️❤️❤️
Wow! It would be GREAT to see your approach to mixing orchestral percussion, Dom!!
A big yes please on mixing orchestral percussion!
As always thanks for your review!
Dom that was amazing. awesome souds.
This was such a helpful video Dom. Please make a video on how you approach cinematic music mixing. Cheers!
Great video, Thanks!!!! and YES please do a video on to mix cinematic sounds, since they're really tricky!
Thanks Dom! Appreciate the work going into all this. I'd very much like to see how you approach a mix when it comes to orchestral percussion.
Thank you so much for the support my friend
I have Scoring Percussion so thanks for featuring this library!
Thank you very much for featuring Apocalypse Percussion Ensemble in your list!
My pleasure guys! It's a killer library!
Great video Dom! You asked about Scoring Percussion, and I bought it immediately for Groove Agent when I saw it was available. It sounds great, and a tremendous value for the price. I also highly recommend Metronomic Cinema, also for Groove Agent. It has phenomenal drums - also wonderfully underpriced for the volume and quality of drum sounds.
Tom Holkenborg is an awesome guy. His studio time videos 🤌
I'd love to see a tutorial on orchestral percussion mixing 😉👍
Yes, Orchestral percussion tutorial from you, should be Amazing.
Wow! This video blow up my mind! Boom💥
Thanks! Please tutorial extended Eastwest percussion !!
Yeah to a mixing orchestral percussion tutorial !!! Also, I have years of doing regular drums done already but what and how to play orchestral percussion sounds so it sounds like orchestral percussion and not amateur hour percussion mess on an expensive library! :D
What do you think about Toontrack Superior Orchestral Percussion SDX ... if you've used it of course hehe!
Dude that was killer! I bought Soundiron Apocalypse Elements a few days ago and the sounds are massive. I did hear a few I liked from your review and hopefully they are not insanely expensive.
Dom..please please make a tutorial on cinematic percussion using Damage or Damage 2 and how to mix and position the various elements. I know nothing or no-one can come close to how you would impart the knowledge. It would be invaluable for the composer community. And make it an hour long 😅😅😅😅😅😊😊😊😊😊
I wont your acoustic panels (sound diffusers?behind you 😍
great video...thank you.. a bit bassie on one side...but no problem. The SD3 sounds a bit pvc to me..
More on mixing please!
SD2 Lion Drums are absolute staples of mine.
Dom, I didn't play midi. Groove Agent allows me to piece together intros, mains, fills , and outros. Do any of these libraries in this video have similar modes of production as groove agent? Since i don't play live.
Yo Dom, could you please make a video about Group Channeling, especially for risers.
you are great!!
thank you so much.
how can i get my vocals recorded on a highr valume?
Speak louder 😇
Thanks Dom. Just gotta develop some skills like yours now. Easy eh!?
Amazingggggggggggggggggggggggg
Hello my friend, can I ask you for help? Where could I find a good soft boom? to use it in trailer music, like the dark night... please, I would love to know your advice. thank you so much.
Have you had a chance to try Spitfire Hammers? How would you compare it to the others in this list?
I haven’t tried it yet!
Shhhh don't tell people about Spitfire Hammers!! 🫢
What sample rate do you prefer/recommend for orchestral composing in cubase? Is 44 is enough (set it and forget as some guys recommend) or do is better to go 48-96+) Thanks! (Your channel is the best btw! :)
Hey Egor! I go for 48 as a standard these days :)
Mixing Orchestral Percussions please...dont think there is any video on this!
I've noticed with cineperc there's alot of background noise going on when you play the instruments
Whats that new monitor on the table? 😮
Damage 2 ftw!
I’m surprised LA Modern Perc isn’t on the list. Or Strezlov perc essentials
I have Scoring Percussion and still often forget about it.
What is this keyboard?)
My Brother, It is Midi Keyboard..connected to a computer..Played Through VST Software....I hope this helps...
What is ur most favorite percussion library????
Toontrack Orchestral Percussion
Как самозабвенно стучит 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂молодец !!!!!!
Why have you switched to Mac?
I am using both Mac and PC but after testing, my M1 MacBook Pro blows away my i9 PC in terms of performance so temporarily I am using this system for obvious reasons :)
@@DomSigalas how is than even possible, the raw computational power of the M1 ultra, even the M2 ultra, is less than than of the 13900k and the macbook has half the CPU cores.
I mean I own a 10900k and I want to upgrade but I cannot believe the macs could match the big desktop PCs. Not really. Is there some DAW bench proving this with samples loaded?
@@znerolepicmusic6015 the M1 Max CPUs are monsters. I am looking at the Mac Studio with M2 Ultra at the moment. These computers are phenomenal.
I have created a benchmark for Cubase in the past- look up my Intel vs AMD video.
But honestly for me the ultimate test is running identical projects on both machines.
Heavy projects on my PC with 2048 buffer size would choke and not even play while on my M1 Max MBP it played at 45% CPU load at 128 buffer size!
No brainer for me, no reason to torture myself when the MBP is so much more powerful.
Every sound is a Japanese Taiko like. Percussion VST should have other instruments, which few people produce.
They should call these Taiko like libraries as Dum Dum percussion libraries. Too many of these flooded in market. Looks like these sound libraries are easier to make. Hope the market will improve soon. Regards.
How to keep cinematic percussion present without pushing aside the other instruments.
so comments sharing the own most used libraries are being deleted? Disappointing
I didn’t delete any comment - what are your favourites?
@@DomSigalas Mhh, strange, I mentioned the "Fracture Sounds Box Factory". Seems to be deleted. It's an amazing library recorded from card boxes...check it out.
