I actually own this exact tv only difference is I have a 65”. Plenty of brightness for me. But for the price I’m grateful. 4k looks good . I will say that one thing I dislike is that I have a Samsung sound bar and when I watch Netflix app from tcl , there is a lot of delay. So I change the input to my Amazon 4k firestick and no delay whatsoever. Overall like Tech Steve said not a bad tv for the price. Yes there are better models that tcl offers. But I’m happy with this one 😊
@snowbunny426 The actual sound from the TV itself sounds good. When watching movies, I like to have a soundbar connection for better sound experience.I will say my sound bar doesn't have an hdmi connection. Maybe I wouldn't experience much delay. But I don't know because i get no delay from other apps that are pre-installed. Apps on the tv like Hulu, Max, or TH-cam. It's just a weird situation. Overall, the sound from the TV itself is good.

@jovo9000 it is weird because it's 60hz, but it does say it can do 120at 1440 and 4k is 60. At least for the 55in and up. The way things are framed is very confusing.

I just got one if these gifted to me by a neighbor who was moving. While I think that the picture is quite good, the remote, the menu system, the command/response lag, and the ARC/eARC output all seem to need some improvement, but I'm new to using a smart TV, so I'm still using my Firestick and ROKU streambar. I'll have to try using some of the built in apps to see if I even need the Firestick. I still want to use the ROKU streambar just because it has better aound than rhe built in speakers. I was having great difficulty getting sound when using the Firestick, but just connected the Streambar to the TV with a TOSLINK cable and that might fix the issue. I was having to power off the TV, Firestick, and ROKU Streambar everytime in order to get an ARC connect and even that didn't work all the time. Also, I have a significant problem with the audio and pucture being out of sync.
I bought this TV for friend of mine who had a 40 inch full HD TV for a number of years. So this Q6 was definitely an upgrade.
