One of the greatest adventure movies ever. The sheer joy you got from Ray Harryhausen films was amazing. As a young kid, these movies took you to another world of make believe & these were watched repeatedly. Today, they will never capture that true feeling of magical, know matter how much CGI they use. Thank you & RIP the great Ray Harryhausen.
There was a remake,of sorts, 21 years ago but it came and went. I saw the DVD of it at my local Dollar Store in a bin filled with other forgotten films. I hope Hollywood NEVER attempts to do to Jason what they did to Clash of the Titans.
Todd Armstrong is perfect! Dashing and heroic, he is the ideal choice. But what I didn’t know was that he and his costar Nancy Kovack, both American, were dubbed by other actors Tim Turner and even Haddon because their accents jarred with a mainly British cast. Crazy! Did you know that?
The only problem that could possibly be said of this film, is the poor character development the greater majority of the Argonauts receive in Beverly Cross and Jan Read’s script Aside from that,extremely enjoyable fare and one of my Top 20 favorites

This movie was one of Ray Harryhausen’s masterpieces. And above all, out of all the movies he’s done, this is by far the best of the bunch.
Greek mythology that comes to life in this thrilling adventure of Jason and the Argonauts.
They gave the whole film away in 3 minutes. Still an epic film.
The story was given away 2,000 years ago. 😂
Looks wonderful remastered..... All of my kids have seen all of Ray's movies..... This is my favorite one.

I saw this film on TV when I was a little kid back in the early 70s. I was freaked out.

If you don't know it, you're in for a great surprise. It's one of the best stop-motion fantasy movies of its time, maybe of ALL time...
Youre in for a good movie. The effects mostly holds up if you can enjoy stop-motion
