    "Mabuhay" means welcome to the Philippines.
    Just spent 4 months living in bayan ( a place where old white guys live).Sabang has become the new Seoul where koreans dictate prices and what flippina's us westerners can have.
    The only time i venture into sabang is to dive with big apple dive resort.

      We spent 3 days there, that was enough. We then went to Boracay for a week. Totally different atmosphere. Siargo is one of my favorite destinations. Plan to visit there again the next trip over. What is nice about the Philippines is there are so many places to explore and travel to. Enjoy my friend.

      It has scuba diving, snorkeling and boat trips during the day and an active nightlife scene due to the red light district. You can pick out the hookers as you walk around town. Depending on what you are after you may love it there or get bored quickly. There are many places to visit that are better than here especially if you already have a wife or girlfriend. It is an interesting place, I will give it that. The bikini 👙 bar was fun for an afternoon. That is the floating bar in the bay. Very cool place to hang out and chill. Great food and restaurant options. It was worth checking out but I will try new places before I would return here. Thanks for the comment.

      @user-sw9ow2fp9e I agree with you. We were here for about 4 days, and once is enough. I think El Nido and Siargo are my two favorite places in the Philippines so far. There is also a shit ton of fun things to do on the island of Bohol. Southern Cebu island has some amazing activities as well. There is always another place to explore. Enjoy your time there.

    Boy did they destroy that place with so-called "progress". It used to be the best place in The Philippines.

      It once had a more quaint atmosphere with a shoreline, the new boardwalk makes walking the beach area easier but it did change the look of things. It was my first there so I have only seen how it used to be in old videos. Still a cool place.

    Roads look very tight there

      It is mostly for trikes and scooters. At least the main area by the beach. The roads are narrow and it is the busy part of town. It is where all the action takes place. We stayed at the Tropicana Hotel a few blocks from the beach. Very nice place for about $32. It is a dive location with a red light district. It had good restaurants and was fun to go there, but not a place I would go back to. El Nido, Siargo and Borocay are levels above this place.

      @@scottchocolate2833 If you say its a "level below" the others than it must be an excellent place. Just looking at the woman you are with is enough to let me know what sort of a judge you are.

      @@jimw7916 I thank you for the compliment. Hana is a wonderful woman and I am so happy she is with me. I didn’t mean to imply that Puerto Galera isn’t a nice place, because it is. It is a tourist town with all the normal things a tourist town in the Philippines has. But El Nido is a special place, a bucket list destination that everyone should visit. Stay thirsty my friend.

    Are there nice hotels around there?

    • @scottchocolate2833
      @scottchocolate2833  หลายเดือนก่อน

      We stayed at the Tropicana Hotel. It was very nice and only around $35 per night. There are lots of places to stay at reasonable rates depending on your budget. The boardwalk area has lots of nice restaurants and hotels and there are also nice places a few blocks off the water. No issues with accommodations in Puerto Galera.
