Follow me and Hana as we venture through the Philippines and add islands to our visited islands list. I hope I live long enough to see all 7600 islands the Philippines has to offer, as each new island is a delight and an experience to remember. The people are warm and friendly in the face of adversity, and the landscape is amazingly beautiful. There is always a new adventure around the corner, and another great place to visit and explore. The Philippines is rich with history and diversity and rewarding to the adventurist soul that travels its landscape. The natural beauty is stunning, vibrant, and a wonder to all who seek its pleasures. The pleasures are there for the taking, and at a price that makes the memories more enjoyable. Treat the country with respect and she will return your fulfillment tenfold. It's never too late to change your life and make each experience more rewarding, at a medium pace. (Adam Sandler) Giggity.

America or PI?
This is in America. I posted it for someone to see. I realize it is not that interesting to most people.
@@scottchocolate2833 I thought so
Video eating? Wtf, dude..
"Mabuhay" means welcome to the Philippines. Just spent 4 months living in bayan ( a place where old white guys live).Sabang has become the new Seoul where koreans dictate prices and what flippina's us westerners can have. The only time i venture into sabang is to dive with big apple dive resort.
We spent 3 days there, that was enough. We then went to Boracay for a week. Totally different atmosphere. Siargo is one of my favorite destinations. Plan to visit there again the next trip over. What is nice about the Philippines is there are so many places to explore and travel to. Enjoy my friend.
@@scottchocolate2833 Hope you did some diving in puerto? It's one of the top 10 places to dive in the Philippines.
The place is looking nice
It has come a long way since the start. I am excited to come see it in person.
@@scottchocolate2833 we will be in Ormoc October through January. Excited for the first Christmas and New Year there.
@@chriss0330 I will be there November 19th to December 14th. I understand the excitement.
@@scottchocolate2833 we will have to try to get together, we will see what the schedule brings.
@@chriss0330 Yes. We are having a joint birthday party for me and Louise at our place in Hugpa on either Dec 11 or 12. We plan to cook a pig and do what locals do at a party. You could certainly join us.
Happy birthday to me yey!!!🎉🎉🎉
Many more to come
Are there nice hotels around there?
We stayed at the Tropicana Hotel. It was very nice and only around $35 per night. There are lots of places to stay at reasonable rates depending on your budget. The boardwalk area has lots of nice restaurants and hotels and there are also nice places a few blocks off the water. No issues with accommodations in Puerto Galera.
It has come a long way. Nice job
It has been Hana that has coordinated and kept the project going smoothly. She has done a great job despite having to listen to me and how I think things should work in the Philippines.
@@scottchocolate2833 I know how that is. I just wait until the job is done then I'll let her know. 😅😅
This is a beautiful song
Thank you. It is a song I wrote.

I understand the tsunami part. Thanks for watching.
Saan ang location nito? Iba ang language eh
This is in Leyte, near Ormoc City. They speak Visayan language there. My girlfriend lives there.
Nice, that's a perfect size for getting away from it all
It is kinda like building your own hotel room. With a huge backyard. I am looking forward to staying there for the first time.
Feel so good 🤣😂🤣
My loves
Anyone have an overall opinion of actually living in Puerto Galera for a long term idea? say 2+ years?
what's your FB page?
Boy did they destroy that place with so-called "progress". It used to be the best place in The Philippines.
It once had a more quaint atmosphere with a shoreline, the new boardwalk makes walking the beach area easier but it did change the look of things. It was my first there so I have only seen how it used to be in old videos. Still a cool place.
Gosh it does need a refurbished. Do they still have smoking area there do you know?
I think it is ok to smoke outside or in the pool area. Not sure since I do not smoke.
No only smoking is ground floor near the shop n 3 floor in carpark from casino! Had just booked 5 nights there n gf was so spooked, lucky I winn 30k in casino n we check out early next day lol
@@davidnott8852 There are definitely much nicer hotels to stay in. I like that area of town, the ABC Hotel is right around the corner and it is very nice for about $30 USD.
looks kind of interesting there
It has scuba diving, snorkeling and boat trips during the day and an active nightlife scene due to the red light district. You can pick out the hookers as you walk around town. Depending on what you are after you may love it there or get bored quickly. There are many places to visit that are better than here especially if you already have a wife or girlfriend. It is an interesting place, I will give it that. The bikini 👙 bar was fun for an afternoon. That is the floating bar in the bay. Very cool place to hang out and chill. Great food and restaurant options. It was worth checking out but I will try new places before I would return here. Thanks for the comment.
@user-sw9ow2fp9e I agree with you. We were here for about 4 days, and once is enough. I think El Nido and Siargo are my two favorite places in the Philippines so far. There is also a shit ton of fun things to do on the island of Bohol. Southern Cebu island has some amazing activities as well. There is always another place to explore. Enjoy your time there.
Roads look very tight there
It is mostly for trikes and scooters. At least the main area by the beach. The roads are narrow and it is the busy part of town. It is where all the action takes place. We stayed at the Tropicana Hotel a few blocks from the beach. Very nice place for about $32. It is a dive location with a red light district. It had good restaurants and was fun to go there, but not a place I would go back to. El Nido, Siargo and Borocay are levels above this place.
@@scottchocolate2833 If you say its a "level below" the others than it must be an excellent place. Just looking at the woman you are with is enough to let me know what sort of a judge you are.
@@jimw7916 I thank you for the compliment. Hana is a wonderful woman and I am so happy she is with me. I didn’t mean to imply that Puerto Galera isn’t a nice place, because it is. It is a tourist town with all the normal things a tourist town in the Philippines has. But El Nido is a special place, a bucket list destination that everyone should visit. Stay thirsty my friend.

Leyte is a great place
You're correct. No such thing as a realtor as we think one is. Many will tell you they can or will process everything. Don't believe them. Get an (good) attorney ! Period !
Yes, agreed. An attorney is a must.
100% only use an attorney
@@JoanAmasora it is an absolute must.

No you didn’t! Foreigners Can Not Own Land!
I think I mentioned that in the video.
Get a 25 year lease on it in your name where you have leased it off her. Then you won't get kicked out fir 25 years. That's plenty of time
@@JoanAmasora yes, great idea. It is a good approach for peace of mind.
I’ve never taken pets on a vacation. You spend too much time much of your time taking care of the pet instead of enjoying your surroundings.
A dog would be difficult enough, I can’t imagine taking a cat. I leave my cat home when I go on vacation and he is just fine. I don’t think the cat really likes the beach for that matter.
@@scottchocolate2833 all that sand may have them constantly squatting….

That is what you call unconditional love ❤
Yes my love.
love baybay
It is a great City.
I have seen some setups on Amazon that will ship free to PI I'm thinking about that when I get there
I couldn’t find anything that would ship to the Philippines 🇵🇭. I didn’t look real hard. They could not find a 12 volt pump in the Philippines that is why I am sending it to them.
Lechon manok with hanging rice. Kalami
It is kinda a standard meal. I was under the weather that day so I didn’t eat much. That is what Filipinos want when given the option. The food scene in Cebu city is much more diverse.
Hanging rice in visaya is puso😊
@@hanarefuelo1738 I know. I just think it’s funny calling it hanging rice.
What are you doing in Baybay? Utod? I lived in Baybay long ago. Just found your channel
Well, we went there from Ormoc to buy some trees to plant on our land. There is a nice nursery there with lots of plants and trees 🌴. Trying to get some fruit trees growing. It is also where we left for a boat tour to go island hopping, or at least it was close to Baybay City. I enjoy seeing different areas of the Philippines. 🇵🇭. I will post a video for you of where we ate at the port in Baybay.
@@scottchocolate2833 thank you. I was in Baybay 2019. Covid screwed an early return.
@@dave-d-grunt well, things are back to normal, as normal as the Philippines can be anyway. Things are more expensive but that can be said everywhere. The coast of Leyte has lots of nice towns. I spend a fair amount of time in Ormoc as Hana is from there. We also travel around the islands and check out various places. All in all, Leyte is as good as place as any to call home. Time to find your way back. Take care.
We will be going there next trip
It is a nice resort. Kinda expensive compared to other resorts in other cities. About $65 per night for the cheaper rooms.
The Sabin is a nice resort. Good restaurant and nice pool.
Street Walkers…… literally people walking in the street…lol Ormoc is one of my favourite city’s.. many kind people there.

Yes, but building fence seems to be a bit more complicated in the Philippines than it is here. No metal posts. All is good though.
Great talk.

14:41. It's a free market trade. Both parts are interested in the other's attributes, or there wouldn't be a union. Of course, that doesn't stop busybodies from pontificating over the morality of the situation. Not sure who's getting hurt... The man who wants the younger woman? The younger woman who wants the reliability of a more established man? The busybody who doesn't have any skin in the game, but manages to be offended all the same?
Appreciate the support.
Easy to find, just south of the University in Baybay City.
Where is this at? Looks relaxing
It was in Boracay. We went on a boat tour and this was where they took us for a lunch. This was a side show there for taking pictures or videos. The water needed to be warmer to call it relaxing, but it makes a good video.
Looks like a nice piece of land
It really is. It has a view of the ocean about 3 miles away, it has a gentle slope and is about 1.3 acres in size. We had to get a fence up to keep the neighbors cows from damaging the trees we planted.
I am assuming just south of the university
@@chriss0330 yes, about a mile or so. On the Ocean side of the road.
