Fun fact about the Angle/Guerrero fight: afterwards, one of the other guys asked Eddie "why the hell would you try to double-leg an Olympic gold medalist?" Eddie replied something along the lines of "because I'm an idiot". 😂
You're correct. Although apparently before the steroids started really "setting in" Jim in his personal life was at times an ok person to be around, the longer he stayed, the more steroids he did, and the bigger his ego got the more unbearable he became and the guy named Jim essentially disappeared (literally he changed his name to warrior, seemingly ironically confirming that the individual Jim that at least occasionally had a positive attribute people enjoyed had by that point left.) I didn't know this personally if course, this is just an assumption based on other people that actually did know him personally.. (like Vince McMahon.. although perhaps his opinion can't be trusted.. but also Steve bordon aka sting who was his original tag team partner and in many ways is his mirror opposite.. a face painted baby-face fan favorite that essentially became a franchise performer for his promotion.. but while initially being very green and getting by mostly on his intensity and look, he actually studied the craft made meaningful friendships within the organization.. especially with his onscreen rivals like Ric flair.. and rather than acting like he was better than anyone else, everyone else indeed respected him and instead praised him as being the best.... If you try to stab someone with scissors, and they obtain said scissors before you can, and they decide to stab you however many times with it....That's kinda on you.
Can you imagine being arrogant enough to disrespect Rick Rude to his face? 🤣🤣🤣 There’s a lot of guys that try to be tough and then there’s guys like Rick Rude that don’t need to try. Reminds me of the time Vader disrespected Paul Orndorff and despite Orndorff losing the use of his arm and wearing flip flops, he still knocked Vader out in front of the locker room. 🤣
Given that Sid and Arn are on good terms now as are Scott Steiner and DDP, imagine if ten years down the line, punk and Perry reveal they’re on good terms
I met a couple of these guys back in the day and I certainly wouldn’t step between them to break up a fight. Sid Vicious was enormous, his arms were as big as my legs. If he had a pair of scissors, he’d only be able to stab me in the back . . . and only then, if he could catch me.
I've seen countless wrestlers say that the real tough guy was Rick Rude. He would throw punches at the drop of a hat. With other wrestlers, on the street, and would go to bars LITERALLY with the intention of getting into a fist fight. Would insult men or their wives there hoping it would come to blows
We didnt get the funniest part of the shawn/bret story, they were in the bathroom when it started, and lawler was using it, and got up quick to try and break them up... but it was never confirmed if he wiped or not before hand XD hahaha
I recently saw a screen grab from a Goldberg fight of a sign in the front row that dude was shoving out into the arena space that said in massive letters “GOLDBERG EATS CORN THE LONG WAY” and I haven’t stopped laughing about it since 😂
Nomore Rick Rude brawls? It is often told that he was not a man to mess with and was extremely tough and good at fighting. I'm also surprised there isn't more stories of HBK. Back in the 90's he was definitely public enemy number 1 and was well deserved and for fans a treat to watch. Macho Man is no surprise. He was always in real fights and in fact loved it 😂 Met Randy Savage at Dave and Busters on a apparent date and was playing pool next to my party. I went over and offered my hand and gratitude for his legendary wrestling performances and he was very humble and polite and I left him back to his privacy rather then being a fan even though he would have been cool with it. You don't go into a very public place as Macho Man Randy Savage and expect privacy 😮 Non the less I understood the unspeakable and respected the boundary I know that I would probably want regardless, pretty self absorbed to think that can be possible being a famous person, but do understand the mindset to wanting to be that way.
Thought this was gonna be the same old fights we've heard a thousand times but I hadn't heard of a lot of these. The Sid/Arn fight was very surprising.
Would it be hard to program your fast paced Ai version of your voice to say "and that is why he became known as Syco Sid when he joined the WWF," after the stabbing incident?
The one who was a REAL fighter was Rick rude. He would throw punches at anyone at anytime. He would go to bars with the sole intention of getting into a bar fight. Would say horrible things about guys wives.. wrestlers or guys on the street.. hoping they would put their fists up. They said he liked to fight more than he liked to fuck

Also, Hawk did not sue Savage, Hawks wife sued Gorgeous George and her sister for jumping her. Hawk also finished the fight with Randy on the floor, inside a stall, and Hawk standing over him, asking him if he was finished.
2:35 Everyone says that Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels had the biggest rivalry in all of WWE history, but from all the stories, it seems obvious that only Bret Hart was the one who took it personally and attacked HBK, Vince McMahon and others. Shawn Michaels didn't care care about it nor did he have anything against Bret Hart in particular. Also, why would anyone take "Sunny days" as an insult? I think it would be a compliment to any wrestler. From what I heard, almost every top wrestler had "Sunny days", ESPECIALLY Shawn Michaels. Someone literally said that they would keep one of the boys in the locker room watching out for others while he banged her.
