I feel like the rom&nd palette (kuromi palette which they also released as a regular palette) honestly feels better than the wakemake black hush palette.
oooh! okay now that you mention it, yeah i agree with you. (love how we all still call it the kuromi palette haha! i dont even remember whats the new name since its now permanent 😅😂) imo the kuromi palette is the perfect edgy-vampy-deep eyeshadow palette from a kbeauty brand. very well done!
@@itskrystle so true. The kuromi palette was one of the kbeauy eyeshadows that felt pretty new at the time of it’s release and now it seems like a lot of brands are also utilising that kind of color story. Glad romand decided to make it permanent.

I appreciate these videos so much cos I don't really keep up with all the new releases 😅 I didn't get the fwee pudding pot as well because just the thought of reapplying it when I'm outside is so ugh!! Also just wondering, have you tried Judydoll? Their iron mascara and lip tint were everywhere online as well! Their donut highlighter went v viral as well lmao
right?? even the mere thought of reapplication with my fingers while i'm outside is just,, a big no for me 🤨(im always thinking of the worst case scenario lol)

i love watching these types of videos and your opinion on the new releaes since there isn't a lot of english speaking content out there and if most of them would kind of encourage to "don't walk just run to " kind of mentality. I would say you do kind of de-influence in a way - while stil lbeing honest about wanting certain new releases haha, because same. Especially the dasique ones I have considered buying the original 12 pan but now I am just confused what and if there is even a big difference betwen the new and old one
so glad to hear you enjoyed watching 😁 yeaaah, the urge to get new makeup releases is r e a l haha! nowadays i tell myself to sit on it for about 1-2 weeks-ish. if its still living rent free in my head (aka i still keep thinking about it), then i will allow myself to buy it.
i think if you wanna try dasique eyeshadow palettes, getting the og 12 pan palettes would suffice + the formulas in there are pretty solid, the shimmers are next level sparkly! if not, try to see if there's any english-speaking / subs review
just came across this video and your channel!! it's really nice to hear someone talk about kbeauty releases like this. i'm also super interested in the fwee pot but they're expensive on ebay and beautyboxkorea. i'm on the fence about the wakemake black hush palette, bc i already have the romand kuromi palette. my thing is i never have good color payoff from kbeauty eyeshadows (my skintone is shade 25 in kbeauty) and 8/10 times theyre a waste of money for me. i'm telling myself i only have two more palette fails in me before i give up kbeauty eyeshadows all together (unless anyone has tips. i was thinking of using a light colored concealer around my eyes before applying eyeshadow)
omg when i went live on saturday, we were all talking about the kuromi palette also!😂 honestly the kuromi palette is quite an underrated and iconic.
aw man, i totally understand where you're coming from 🥲 if you still want to get into kbeauty shadows, i'd suggest to 1. try to find creators that are of your skintone (i saw a couple on tiktok. reddit seems pretty helpful cause they do do swatches) 2. i wont gamble on getting the shadows unless i *know* it will show on me 3. the *safest* would be those 9-pan glitter eyeshadows and it depends if its your thing or not.
i think a light colored eye base would be a good idea! if you do try that method out, let me know if its works out for you.
I really need someone to pull out a pink and brown and peach palette or something why to they all have to be ONE single color

love these series! now that ive built up a makeup kit im semi satisfied with, im now curious on keeping up with new releases and this is a helpful summary!! the fwee pots have some colors im intrigued by but same i dont rly like pot containers 😭 im obsessed with eyeshadows rn and thankfully none of the new releases caught my eye LMAO

The finish of the Wakemake highlight palette looks really nice, but I'm also thinking of maybe investing in $$ J-beauty highlighter so idk. Also I have too many blushes already but if I was picking up a 2-colour blush, I might pick up the 2aN or the Hince ones first because the colours are more interesting.
