    WOW I've never seen anyone create an embossing mat before...so kudos to you and you definitely provided an excellent tutorial and I love the way you kept everything up close and personal & made sure we saw every little thing you did and why!! You did a great job no need to do any different way!!!! You moved us around in such a way that no motion sickness was felt....so GREAT job. Keep your CDS ideas coming. YOU so ROCK!!

    Ignore the comments of people who think they know it all. Your videos are great, well detailed and very natural. Thanks so much for sharing and please continue to do so, you are great in your explanations. Thank you!

    Thank you for reminding me how to use my Cricut - it has been a long time. I have recently bought a Sizzix bigshot and don'twant to spend a fortune on embossing folders. I also love to be reminded how I can use materials I already have. Carol UK

    Thanks for the tutorial. As a newbie it's very helpful to see up close what you are selecting. I make a lot of cards so this is perfect. Thanks for sharing!

    Loved the tutorial. Never thought of using my CDS for this. This is something I will have to try using some of my own designs. Great job!

    if you use a med chip board, cut twice on cricut, it'll save you the steps of having to cut 4 pieces and gluing them. I love making theses.

    • @CraftingwithWine
      @CraftingwithWine  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree about the chipboard. I should have mentioned that. I did it this way, for people who may not have chipboard. The best part, you get the embossing folder you want and it's cheaper. LOL. Thanks for writing. Cheers, Carolyn

    It is a nice video BUT, there is no explanation on how to achieve the end result correctly. At 11:20 into the video, you can partially see how the design will appear if you follow the directions exactly. And then at 11:27, a beautiful and DIFFERENT design somehow magically appears on the screen, but with NO explanation of what was done to correct the previous result. :(

      I agree, I don't see how you can follow the video and end up with a functional embossing folder from your design, i.e., if you're a beginner, have never done it before. Seems the creation of custom embossing folders is one of the closest guarded secrets in the world...

    Thanks for your videos ! I like that you show where things are because I am new and just learning. I can't get it to work though. I have tried several different backgrounds but every time I get to the weld part, I just end up with a partial drawing. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I follow you very close and do everything just as you say.

      Your problem is because she didn't explain about encasing your 'emboss' graphic totally within AND touching the rectangle frame. Note that she just moved on to the finished weld - she did changes off camera and without explanation. This was a good attempt to try to help, but a script and better video control would help her enormously. For those who cry 'Booo' - it's feedback, not criticism!

    I am a little lost. What tool does it need to cut this. My cricut is a maker and it says not compatible with the pen?? Thanks to anyone who can answer this

    You should download a free screen recorder (like OBS or something like that) instead of filming the screen.

    I appreciate your tutorial but you should plan it out better before you do it. Don't zoom in and out all the time. Write a script and have bullet points and you can shorten your video and make it easier to follow. Better yet, learn how to do screen casting and use camtasia to make your videos.

      I agree, if you’re going to go to the trouble to make a video make sure it’s easy to follow.
      Constructive criticism is always good and should be taken as a positive

    okay you did not weld and get that image the first time you welded is what it turns out to be bc I followed along why even make a video and not show how you really got the image you can see the original video stopped and you edited in the finished project .won't watch you again.
