One thing I love about you Dr. Cellini is your ability to embrace difficult moments with a sense of light heartedness and humor. That was my first impression of you and the reason I subscribed. Medicine can be brutal and some days you’re just like “wtf was today” and frankly it’s not that enjoyable lol. Your insight is such a valuable tool to learn for all trainee’s!
Oh doctor, how I missed your work vlogs, but also love your travel & everything in between vlogs. You & Andriana work hard & deserve to play just as much.
I’ve missed these day in the life videos! Loved watching them through your residency and fellowship, and even though they may not be as “exciting” these days in practice, I still always love to watch. They allow me to stay motivated and see what’s on the other side after I finish medical school and beyond.
I missed these day in the life vlogs!! I like how you show your work life balance. Just finished PA school and am going into ortho surgery but could definitely see IR in my future 👀👀
I’m a new match to an integrated IR program in Florida. Heavily considering private practice. Thank you for the content I really appreciate the future perspective. You haven’t made any content about your job search have you?
IR put my power port in at Mass General, the resident & the Doctor supervising were rock stars, have had my port for a bit over 7 years & it works beautifully
I'm a long time subscriber, and I love the general lifestyle videos. However, as an upcoming DR applicant, I'd love to see videos where you go into the medicine of it more. I do understand that's probably not ideal for the algorithm though haha.
Hi Dr. Cellini, I am watching all your videos and I love them. I just admire you because of your business background and how you went into medicine after working and not straight in. And how you are successful in it regardless. I went straight through with a narrow focus on just medicine and trust me, I have no financial education it makes it so difficult because you as a student or resident just don’t know the outside world. It would be so so amazing if you can start videos on financial health and education/awareness for us people in medicine!!! 😃
I would like more of the ones where you show actual xrays etc and diagnose them - like the lung biopsy you did today - would like to see a video of actually being done. Maybe you can't due to hippa - but maybe the xray part of it.
I am a RA student. My lead glasses are Nike Brazen. I find they have better splash protection as they wrap around. About $450 with my script. Ouch!! Well come to think of it my Nike regular glasses werer about $550. So, I got a good deal I guess.
My Mom has cancer and spread to liver and axial lymph nodes. Her oncologist said IR radiologist will determine which one to biopsy to see were cancer is coming from. Do you also do have to decide that?
Hi Dr. Cellini, I’m a new transitional year intern at a hospital in New Jersey. I’m planning on applying to Radiology this cycle and would love the chance to ask you a few questions and get your advice. Thanks!
Hi Michael! Yay a new VLOG! Question: You review thyroid biopsy? I thought it was done by an otorhinolaryngologist! I don't know much about medicine :P
Hi Dr Cellini, I am a huge fan of your channel and long time subscriber! And I am probably joining IR too. Just wondering how your calls are like and how is it compensated? thank you so much for answering!
Its weird catching a video from you so soon after it was uploaded. TH-cam hides them from me for some reason and i have to come looking every few weeks!
Hi doc I have a question..in comparision of your GI Colleague attending and Cardiology attending in private practice, which of you have more relax day and more pay? beacause i heard GI in internal med is so chill and lifstyle base
If you are seeing inpatient add ons does that mean you are going into the hospital to see them? Are you right next door in a procedure suite or something?
I'm about to start med school in New Orleans and radiology has been in my top 2 as long as I can remember. I grew up in front of the computer playing video games and coding, plus one of my parents is a radiologist. AI in radiology is fascinating. My older brother just started his dermatology residency in CT, and I have a personal connection with derm, so it would be a dream to open a practice with him if I choose derm. I guess my options will really come down to my step scores down the road
No worries, no one knows your work life just like no one knows mine. If you stayed in NYC, would you still be doing complicated cases? Would you please link Cellini Rounds on your channels page? Makes it easier to find :-) One Love
@@DrCellini Why is it that not more IR people do US guided core bx's as opposed to FNA's for thyroids in general? I used to do a ton of US thyroid cores long time ago (as a Body guy helping out IR). Granted it wasn't a huge bump in dx rate but I thought it was a noticeable improvement. Our younger IR guys never (or hardly ever?) do cores, only FNA's.
Dr Cellini, can I interview you for my channel? I'd like to get your insight on the current state of medicine, should someone still consider going into the Healthcare field, thought on why doctors are so bad with money 💰.
Yes u must get play time in. Your so busy at work. Why do out pt procedures get in before those admitted? Shouldn't it be other way around? 🤔 love your vlogs no matter what there about.
Dr chiellini due to pandemic before you do anything else fun like golfing I would suggest you pay off all of your student loans and make sure you have a place to live before you do anything else because the vitaministration it is not going well the economy is not doing well and the Republicans have overturned roe versus Wade I don't know that falls under what you practice by just so I let you know and you can also volunteer your time and be a coach in special Olympics for people like myself who have disabilities you and your wife we could use people like you to teach us how to golf and do tennis and things like that it's a lot of fun
Piku, why are you on every physician's channel asking their salary? You are more invasive than dr. Cellini's procedures. Ask Google. Nobody is going to reveal such personal info to you in yt comments.
I also want to know when you're off duty you and your wife and you're at home with your family are they spying on you at home as well for a lot of people they are the Republican party.

IR > Ortho… no bias though ☺️
No way I'm here this early, been looking forward to this since you ended fellowship!! Keep it up
Haha wait no longer
love you doc, great to see the lifestyle progress from the first video on your channel to this
just applied to med schools, been watching your vids for a while now and super interested in IR!! keep up the great work Doc
same here, very interested in IR :) can't wait! super excited for it.
I’m a new match to an integrated IR program in Florida. Heavily considering private practice. Thank you for the content I really appreciate the future perspective. You haven’t made any content about your job search have you?
Na. Wasn’t too much searching for me
Long awaited. Thank you!
I like seeing the day in the life vlogs!
It’s a balance of work, side biz, and married life!
IR put my power port in at Mass General, the resident & the Doctor supervising were rock stars, have had my port for a bit over 7 years & it works beautifully
Man cant wait to have my own pratice
Def my fav Vlogs! Hope you’re all doing well from the travel issues
Wow A normal radiologist md . Your techs love you
The return of the best content
I was wondering if you were taking a break. Your vid’s were popping up but, welcome back!!!
Great video! Love it. God bless y’all ❤️❤️❤️

Haha yeah only like 5 people want to see that haha
I second this!
I third this.. loved the video on Radiology textbooks.
Oh Michael, I’ve really missed your Work Vlogs!! ✌🏼👍

Oh no! Your title ‘private pratice,’ but we all get what you meant 😂

LOVE DAY IN THE LIFE VIDS YES

I'm early today. I am so happy! I enjoy watching you.
Finally!!! We get to see this again💃💃💃
Hi Dr. Cellini, I’m a new transitional year intern at a hospital in New Jersey. I’m planning on applying to Radiology this cycle and would love the chance to ask you a few questions and get your advice. Thanks!
How’ve you been? Love that your still pushing along in the journey. What made you do x-rays?
Dr comp bouta take off w a private practice💵📈
Hi Michael! Yay a new VLOG! Question: You review thyroid biopsy? I thought it was done by an otorhinolaryngologist! I don't know much about medicine :P
Nope! I read thyroid ultrasounds and also perform ultrasound guided thyroid biopsies!
What's the problem with showing images without names? It's no different than seeing images in a textbook.
For a sec I thought this was a dr linkov video. It’s his signature medical skullcap I believe. I was like when did he become a radiologist?!?!
Can you make a video explaining all the different types of imaging and the differences. Such as CT vs MRI vc PET Scan?
Love what you do. I see you titled the video like I text. I proof read after I send the text lol
Do you work in a private hospital or is it a small clinic where patients are referred for specific procedures?
I've missed these vids
Hi doc
I have a question..in comparision of your GI Colleague attending and Cardiology attending in private practice, which of you have more relax day and more pay? beacause i heard GI in internal med is so chill and lifstyle base
Radiologists call the films radiographs not "X-Rays". X-Rays are the high energy source.
Played tennis w/ wife, helped lotsa patients, made couple grand in a day. Great, man!
All in a days work!
A couple grand in a day is probably a stretch, but he definitely did well.
for the algo. love the content
Do you still like IR?
How often are you doing call in private practice IR?
If you are seeing inpatient add ons does that mean you are going into the hospital to see them? Are you right next door in a procedure suite or something?
You need a variable ND filter for those harsh lights.
Moving to Tennessee next month
what about doing a comparison between what Dr Tommy is doing/studying now vs what you actually do in reality
Not a bad idea
Question: in the US, fellowships that rely heavily on ultrasound (MSK, breast for instance) have them performed by the physician or the technician?
All non-procedural ultrasound, aka diagnostic ultrasound, is performed by ultrasound tech/sonographer
@@DrCellini Isn't it hard to read an ultrasound which you haven't performed? In my country all ultrasounds are performed by radiologists.
Hi Doc, can you have a spinal tap to check for MS but under sedation? Does the sedation compromise the CSF? 🤔

Lol what
I took tennis lessons as a kid and also have a cousin who runs a tennis school and was a pro coach and I still suck at it lol
Haha it’s not an easy sport
No worries, no one knows your work life just like no one knows mine. If you stayed in NYC, would you still be doing complicated cases? Would you please link Cellini Rounds on your channels page? Makes it easier to find :-) One Love
Probably. But I was pretty burnt out from 4+ hour complex cases. Not something sustainable for me, personally
Please tell me why you can not tell us about the BX it doesn't show any pt information???? Why can you not show any of this if no names are attached
Do more of these.
i’ve been waiting for you to post about your private practice! Because the private practice part of medicine is what attracts me to medicine the most.
Look no further?
Hi Doc - do you do BRTOs ?
Please film more!
What's your approach to reading an xray or ct scan? Any good sources?
Yeah IR residency is a great source.
Do you guys FNA all thyroid nodules? My hospitals rads dpt wont biopsy anything other than Ti-Rads 4 or 5. Just curious how it varies
Bc you shouldn’t really FNA anything a 4 or 5 unless a big 3 lesion
@@DrCellini Why is it that not more IR people do US guided core bx's as opposed to FNA's for thyroids in general? I used to do a ton of US thyroid cores long time ago (as a Body guy helping out IR). One fdkcking question : how much ? 🤣
Hi doc.cillini how I wish you where in the Philippines my sister need inetervinsional cardiology she need it asap fo herr operation.
How about a collab with Dr Mike
No ‘lines’ under your eyes !!
What's your IR call like?

thought you were a pilot
Do you perform thrombectomies of a dialysis access AVG/AVF?
Yep. Not often, but I do

Google it

Is there a trend where interventional radiologists go bald over time?
yoooo chic fil la OMGG
❤❤❤❤❤
Can you get a 7 day on 7 day off schedule as an IR attending?
I also want to know when you're off duty you and your wife and you're at home with your family are they spying on you at home as well for a lot of people they are the Republican party.
You look so tired...
