yupo paper is mostly used for alchohol inks in the crafting world because of how it moves on the glossy texture/surface, and the canson xl series is also sold in pad versions. aandd the acryla paints arent actually pure gouache, they are like a hybrid mix of acrylic, gouache, and oil. hope that helps ;) ♡

I tried the plastic feeling paper. The watercolor will not absorb into the substance because it’s neither paper or cotton. If you wait for hours it will dry, the water will evaporate leaving splotches of pigment laying there. I haven’t been to Central Park since i was a kid. Love cats!

with the spiral bound sketchbooks, use a big paper clip to close it. That way the pages won't rub on each other and smudge graphite and colored pencil everywhere ;)
