Rick Kruger I have a 2018 CRV Touring. It seems there are only 12 Sirius presets, but read somewhere that you can somehow store multiple stations to each preset? Can you confirm if this is true and if so explain how to do it? Also can I possibly also get the instructions how to change the background to a photo of choice? Thank you!

Rick. In my owners manual it says I can bring up a compass icon on the 7inch screen. I have the touring 2017 so I would imagine there is a way to do this. Can you help me find out how to place a compass on the screen by the clock please?
How do you get browser to show up under Apps? Not on my 2018 CRV exl. Also, how do you work the app icon within Apps?
Using the Auto High-Beam System
To disable the system: Pull and hold the headlight lever toward you until the indicator flashes twice.
To re-enable the system: Pull and hold the headlight lever toward you until the indicator flashes once.
To manually cancel the system (temporarily): You can cancel the operation when you manually change the headlights to high beams. Push the lever forward until you hear a click, or lightly pull the lever towards you to flash high beams. The auto high-beam system indicator goes off. If you want the auto high-beam system operation to resume at once, pull the lever towards you.
mine doesnt beep when i am close to an object when im backing out. how do i turn on the beeping warning when im about to hit something?
@@btran213 That's because the CR-V does not come standard with the back up sensors. Unless you added it as an accessory when you purchased it. If so, your salesman will have to show you how to turn the beeper sound on / off. How do you like it so far?? Did you get the Touring model??

I'm a Land Rover salesperson but recently picked up a 2017 Accord EX-L V6 without nav. I gave the sales person a lot of slack in the demo and delivery but need to know why my voice recognition only works with phone only (Not radio or climate). The on screen tags aren't there either. I understand nav not being there.
Was my car not set up properly in pdi?

My “Menu” tab on the upper left side of my information screen is gone and is replaced with “On Call” how did it get there and how do I get “Menu” tab back?
I like the fact that there is no CD player, old technology, just like I don't need a cassette player in the car anymore. Looking forward to seeing your CarPlay video. When you make that video, it would be good to see how to add an app like Spotify or Waze.

Alan Gertler Hope your enjoying your CR-V! You can only adjust the volume while she is speaking. As soon as she's done talking, you're back to adjusting the volume for the radio.

You should get a mini book and a CD with the whole manual on it.

In addition to Rick's reply, there is a way to order the complete manual PRINTED as well. I seem to recall the instructions are in the abbreviated printed manual that the dealer should have supplied to you.

Kevin Choxom The programming of the keys is for the door locks for key number one or key number two and also to have the memory seat go to that drivers pre-set position.
Im sorry my question is , you go to recent there are say 5 addresses you went to and you want to delete 3 of them, because you no longer want them, how do you delete the 3? I just traded my kia sorento in for the honda crv and Im having a hard time with this gps, liked my old one better. Easier to use.

Yes that would be great! .....but you can't
The memory function, sadly, is only for the Driver's Seat. However, there is FM1 and FM2 -- which allows you to have multiple presets...

Dora Villanueva Yes! You have to increase / decrease only when the Navigation is talking. As soon as she is done talking, you are back to radio volume.

You just turn up the "volume" dial so Nav is louder ? I thought I tired that. I'll try it again when CarPlay starts working

I purchased a 2017 CRV EX - I have Sirius XM radio. When I connect my iphone to Apple car play it switches the Sirius XM radio to another radio system. Am I able to play Sirius XM radio while being connected to Apple car play?
Yes, start at main screena and go to the adio and play XM SAT. Then you get swithch over to the Smart Phone connection.
When I purchased my car, the navigation showed cross streets at the top; however, after the dealership set everything up, it only shows the road I am driving on unless i have a destination selected in navigation. How can I get it to show the cross streets again? I liked that feature but the dealership said they can't help me.
Just to clarify, it would show the cross streets in the gray at the top when you did not have a destination put in..... right?

Piyush Dhorajia You can only adjust the volume of the navigation system when the system is given a command. Once it stops, it goes back to the radio volume.

Actually the LX is the only trim level that does not have the touch screen. The EX, EXL and Touring does. Where do you live? I can ship anywhere in the US.
Rick Kruger according to Honda's website they advertise the LX models to come with the android auto and apple car play, even the LX 2wd version. I'm in Toronto Canada perhaps the Canadian and American ones are different? Do you ship to Canada
Ah! Yes, you are lucky. The US model is different. Plus, the warranty would not be good where you live, only here. :-(. See one of my other videos about how Honda Sensing works out on the open road.

When you go into 'sound settings' under the Base, Treble, Fade, Balance, then,.... click on SVC and change it to low of off. Hope this helps.
Hi，I have a 2017 CR-V LX AWD, and the Carplay was not working, so I did the factory reset. After the restart, the head unit needs me to input a code to use it. As I know, there is a way to press volume knob in some way to solve this issue. Please help. Thanks!

bright2069 Thanks for your question. You do or think of sex same way as setting a preset for FM or a.m. Turn it to the station you want, then press and hold the preset number button you wish it to be for. After the beep you're all set.
The radio at half volume on mine cant be heard at all, and at full volume it is barely at a conversational volume, can that be adjusted?
You can adjust the volume only when you hear the voice of Apple CarPlay.

superwangwei3630 I believe you do so by pulling back towards You for a few seconds and that will either turn the auto highbeams off or on. You can double check by putting the disc in your computer and flip through the owners manual on your computer screen.

Impresos Grafikos Thanks for your question. You must have an Android phone in which you can use Waze with Android Auto. I have an iPhone so I am familiar with Waze. IOS does not get it until the next upgrade this Fall and then can use in AppleCar Play.

Hi Honda Rick, We just bought a 2018 Honda CR-V on June 8,2018 and the Apple car Play works for 1-2 weeks then it doesn't work and I get a message on the screen to check the USB/port. I've gone through 4 chargers and it works for a few days then that message comes back to check the USB port connection. Is this a Honda problem or can I fix it ?

Jeannie Pascuzzi Are you using an iPhone 7 or newer? Also, (I'm sure you are) using an original apple cable. Others will charge, but not transfers the data. Also power down your phone, and power back up. Check for update in settings. ....let me know how it is in a few days. If, still an issue, see your salesman before going to service. I have an iPhone 5. I'm using the cable that came with our iPhones. I've gone through all 4 or 5 of them. It just updated 2 days ago. I'll power down and let you know . is there a different kind of charger that I should be using to transfer the data ? We bought at Howard Honda

We recently purchased a 2018 crv ex and it does not have the browser icon under the app list. At 12:25 in your video, you have the browser icon in app list. Why the difference?
This is on a Touring that has the Garmin Navigation standard, and used the Satellites for the Nav. and other things.

Hello.... You have to down load 'Android Auto' from the Google Play Store. Then follow the instructions on your phone. ....yes, iPhone is much easier - 'plug N play.'

Correct. But you can get Navigation on the EXL(eather) Or use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and get Navigation using your own phone.

Audoyn Villegas - I bought a EL a few weeks ago and have been using my iPhone 7 with CarPlay to navigate and it’s working quite well. The 7” display mirrors my phone screen and is touch sensitive at least somewhat. It still takes some learning how to change a routing etc.
Some of my other Apple apps work through the car link connection. Apple has a list of which ones are compatible on their website.

The title of the video says that this is for 2018 CR-V models, but it is for 2017. Things were changed in 2018. Shame on you. Also you show how to scroll to AWD icon, but do not explain how to check that AWD is on or off. This is important since the vehicle gets better MPG when AWD is off.
Actually the 2017 - 2022 screen is the same on the CR-V Touring. On ANY CR-V ever made, there has never been a 'switch' to go from FWD to AWD. On a Honda CR-V, it will intelligently transfer a percentage of tourque to the rear wheels as needed, back and forth, so yes you still get great MPG but have the AWD if and when needed automatically. 👍🏽

Get used to it. Manufactures are going away with most everyone streaming music from phone or other devices now.
