- Scaling up base shear calculated by response spectrum method , as per base shear by static coefficient method using appropriate empirical time period.
Excellent sir 👏 young structural engineer need this type of video explanation...
Sir , level of your videos is awesome. I want to suggest few things sir that you should make proper playlist for ETABS . Like everyone will teach how to define material , section properties , modelling , load application but no body will teach you how to apply lift load on machine room , no body will teach you how to apply EZ earthquake , no body will tell you what check you should apply like torsional irregularities check , drift check, with codal provision , no body tell you how to give detailing of column ( column schedule) shear wall details , beam details,
Sure, thanks.
Very Informative... Thank you...
Thank you sir for sharing valuable knowledge this helps me to understand the concepts. 🙂🙂🙂🙂
So nice of you
What shall be done if base shear Vb bar (impirical) is less than Vb (by response spectrum analysis? )
Sir Z I Sa/2Rg .. this whole value is already taken ... I have manually calculated and cross checked the value in response spectrum function . It is period vs acceleration.. and whole value is taken
Nice informative 👌👌
So nice of you
Sir how much percentage of base shear shall be matched. I have read that base shear calculated in RS method shall be atleast 85 percent of base shear in ES method. Can we only multiply it by .85 ESM/RSM or we need to consider full 100 percent?
Sir, can you please explain the Fig 5 of IS 1893-2016 part 1 regarding the height of the building.
Sure, will publish a tutorial on it.
Hi sir can you please make video on slab and wall Meshing in Etabs by Manually...and manual calculations of shear wall ,core wall, beams
Please wait..

sir we scale model in x and y direction but why your load case show spectrum in z direction is it req in vertical direction also
Vertical acceleration scaling requirements are explained in detail in Tutorial 5. Please refer it.
sir can you provide online training class
Make more
Sure
