Amazing. I have searched the whole youtube for lectures of this quality, but could only find this. Thanks a lot Sir for sharing your knowledge.

Such nice presentation... Covering the software outputs in lucid manner with relating basics from strength of material... Not a garbage input anymore neither a garbage output... Now these data are not any thousands of data, these are having really predictable behaviour. Thank you.

Sir you are taking up the important topics in structural analysis.I wish you make many such videos on important topic such as seismic and wind analysis for high rise structure.Thanking you.

sir, the cost of foundation will add up in introduction of additional shear walls..?

One thing I would like to ask you, for industrial steel structures, the column positions are very much restricted or fixed, however there is a lot of mass variation... Like three or four silos(in regular pattern) each of 2500T are functioning such that minimum one slio can be full and maximum all... In that case how to control the torsional mode.

Sir your content is fantastic but please make the videos using share screen options so that we can observe more closely what you're doing on the screen. Looking at the tv screen in the video is makes it very tedious to figure out what's going on if the internet speed is low.

Sir, is it necessary to maintain difference in time period by 10% atleast while removing torsional irregularity..If not then what’s d max % difference between 2nd nd 3rd mode time period if my structure undergoes in torsion under 3rd mode?

Sir I have designed symmetrical building of 6 story for Assam and I checked COM and COR is almost coinciding at every floor but still I got torsional mode in 1st mode. Please give me suggestion

Very good tutorial sir, can you please share your views for symmetrical building (zero eccentricity in both principle direction) having torsional mode in first two mode.
And please guide how to resolve the same.
    Thank you in advance...!

To push torsion to third mode ..
      1. Check eccentricity between COR and COM
      2. Try configuring stiffnesses such that eccentricity reduces
      3. Some times even though you manage above point, the stiffness configuration is such that building is more stiff translationally, in such situation...
      a) Increase peripheral stiffnesses
      b) Reduce translational stiffnesses near COR
      c) L shaped walls at corners improve torsional stiffness (Even small legs also improve torsional stiffness)
      d) Delink shear walls near COR
      e) Link peripheral walls
      f) Try to increase core perimeter
      g) Link core walls with strong link beams
      h) For taller buildings, sometimes out-triggers help to reduce torsion....
      Depends case to case.....
