I privatized all my videos and what not, but back in January 2020 I was at the Sears at the Great Northern Mall in Ohio after surgery and filming, and we were kicked out very rudely. I am surprised I even returned, even if it was a few months later when the place was closing.

@@TiltedTripodMedia Yeah, this was my third visit here, and that was my first time ever seeing security there. My friend who lives near this mall also had horror stories with that guard.
That sucks. When I was there in 2015, they were cool about filming and even told me a lot of history about the mall. I asked if it was okay to film and said "I'm one of those dead mall people" and they laughed, they understood, they were cool about it and liked that people were interested in the place. Sorry you ran into someone so rude.
@@unknownuser..._... yup, Kohan is not the greatest and I can definitely see why, they killed a Richmond mall and straight up eliminated Chapel Hill Mall from existence. If CBL still owned Chapel Hill, it would still be doing good
Hopefully you filmed the encounter with security. It sucks that they kicked ya'll out, you could have been there to spend some $$. Security should leave everyone alone and be glad people are visiting the mall.

I was told to stop filming on Swansea Mall's last day 2 years ago. She didn't kick me out though but she was rude. Swansea Mall was in Swansea, Massachusetts.
@@ERA_Productions Me too. I wanted to preserve history. I went to that mall since I don't know when. I knew where everything was. I knew what stores left to be replaced by others. My sister worked at Foot Locker. Spent many years inside that mall. Now the former Macy's is a church.

It is really annoying when we get stopped, since were just trying to preserve history. Its more annoying when they're rude about it.

Nice try Andrew but I know in my area, it's illegal to film in any mall because of of the invasion of privacy act.
