I just got a similar one for free in return for reviewing , actually it's the same item and same box just different logo i couldn't get it to cock my G2C , Maybe i gotta install it first and see if that's gonna work
You would not want it made out of metal... that would scratch your firearm (metal on metal) and the paint would not hold up. The poly material is much kinder to your gun.
Okay so I’m unsure how I’d like to mount mine cause it’s like not snug around my slide, and my pistol will wobble left and right when driving, so I took it and flipped it around, rear sites where the front of the gun is supposed to go, well it’s not wobbly anymore it’s snug but now yah can’t rack a round into it like that anymore.... my carry choice is a S&w sig p224 .40, already looks like your magnet is a bit wider to fit the front of the slide. I’ll post a vidyao on my channel here to show my problem I’m having
Any pictures on what you used to mount it to the car? I purchased one of these and want to make sure that I can properly secure it under the dash without any worries of it coming loose.
most semi autos aren't meant to have the slide racked by holding it while the slide is brought back forward (failure to feed issues), but rather to let go of it to snap it back under it's own spring tension. while the pistol is cradled in the magnet, it's better to push it to rack it, then pull it off the magnet to let it snap forward under it's own weight.
Which do you prefer. Your model or the new one with the rubber?? It doesn't look to strong as the old model. Would like to purchase asap but undecided which one?? Opinion?? Thank's!
