I'm on the 97a dragon formula nano-cubics on both of my setups, and I'm pretty bought in to it both the shape and the ride. I'd love to try a set, but your boy can't be out here buying every wheel that comes out lol. I need more skate friends to try different setups. That being said, I was a pretty die-hard spitfire guy before trying the nanos, so as more sizes and shapes come out I might be tempted to try them again.
I'm going to order a pair of these and put it on my longboard so it looks like a Mexi ride with little rims and tires😅👍🏻.... these wheels look like a Perfect combo For/ Street ramp. Nice job Spitfire🔥
I looooooooooooove these wheels so far, the only problem is, idk why but when i skate this one specific street spot with a small ledge, every time i tried to do noseslides or tailslides, the wheels kinda stick so i have to wax the side of the ledge for the wheels to slide better. I tried skating a different street spot with ledges they slide no problem at all. I really want to try out the bones x97 or x99 but idk which one to pick cause i like the softness but i want it to slide better for sure while doing noseslides, etc. So x97 or x99's?
I got the 52's and they're amazing but nothing like the Dragons. The Spitfires sound like normal 99d wheels, feel very similar to 99d just much smoother on rough surfaces - but not as smooth as the Dragons. EDIT: Comment was worded badly
@@ShredzShop now that I've ridden the spitfires Im replacing all my dragons except on my big boy cruiser deck. Dragons are def smoother over rough stuff but Spitfires strike a better balance for any surface. I have a huge driveway but it's rough asphalt. I was riding the dragons on it for a few weeks and they almost roll too fast and I don't feel confident on them. I've only ridden the Spitfire 93's for a couple days and I already prefer them. TL;DR: Dragons feel like cruiser wheels, get them if you go fast on rough stuff a lot. Get the Spitfires if you want a balanced ride on any surface and don't want to give up the 99d sound
has anyone had any experience with these wheels at slippery wooden parks? I'm trynna figure out are these good for my winter indoor setup, because 99 f4's are wayyy to slippery at the park I skate
I’d still go with the 99 or 97a x formula. It’s a much better slide and versatile wheel. Super absorbent of impact as well. Just a thought but those just look like a 93a and no real change to the formula. Idk just my thoughts take it or leave.
5 years...? I have hard time believing that... I love the brand and their product, but it's no secret that they just piggyback on what skate1 does. They were pretty low key until they put out F4, and even that was an answer to the STF and SPF wheels from Skate1... And now they didn't even care to name it different from what skate1 already had: Soft Slide Formula > Soft Sliders. I guess it's honesty. I wouldn't be surprised if they took the Powell Dragons and analyzed it in a lab.
Hey Levi, I hope you're doing good brother. I was a bit concerned about the letter of the month. Don't worry or focus on haters brother. I freaking love your channel and try and show as many skaters as possible in Tasmania. Keep up the amazing things you do and know that we truly appreciate everything ❤️ 🙏
Now they got the formula caught back up the bones wheels now when are they going to take over the bushing game? Bones bushings are still the best for a big guy like me. Why don’t they get in the spacer game as well? It looks crazy on my board to have a bones sticker next to a spitfire sticker. You know I got to run stickers on my board to rep all my sponsor money. Just kidding, but I do like to have the stickers on my nose cut to the shape just like all my favorite pros. Not the target, monster or shoe company but whatever parts I am running at the time. It’s just something I have been doing since the 2010’s. It gives my board a sick look when I am not riding it. Just a thought. Why are bones the leader in such a simple thing as bushings?
Hope i can buy them in EU soon, really wanna compare them to the dragons (have v1,v4 and v6 of them) and iam prefereing them over my xformula 99 bones nowadays, even on slick concrete parks. they just ride perfect and slide more then well. Really wanna compare them. would love to see a compare video.
THESE SFF4 93A, IS NOT 93A THEY ARE 97A OR 96A, AND THEY ARE 1.5+ YEARS LATE TO THE SOFT WHEELS THAT SLIDE GAME. SIMILAR TO BONES X97 BUT LESSER. THEY WILL NOT BE BETTER ON ROUGH LIKE ASHPALT LIKE DRAGONS 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Bones 99 x formula 52mm 🔥

nano cubic 97s and Dragon 92s
As an east coast skater I'm hyped so many companies are making wheels like this
As a Canadian, I feel the same way! Not everyone gets to ride perfect Cali ground.
@@ShredzShop for real! Some of the best spots in Boston are on super crusty pavement or bricks that are like 100 years old lmao
@@non_brewed_condiment Its cool, I feel like the explosion of new durometers will unlock some new spots for people!

If you love em then why switch! Its rad there's so many options for sizes, shapes and durometer these days!
What if I love these even more? Only one way to know!
This color looks so cool and definitely debating getting a pair in the future 🔥

Set of wheels bro,set.
Mine came in today! Excited to compare them to my dragons,
Love to hear your thoughts! 👊
Spitfire wheels by far have been the best wheels I have skated.

Yeah I've always sworn by spitfire until the dragon wheels came out I'm pretty excited I can try them and switch back

Can’t wait ‘til these get to Aus!
I’ve been debating between 87 OJ’s and 90 Sapphires. Think I’m going with these 93’s 🔥
Let us know what you think! 👊
Can't wait to get a set of these from Grant!

He said there was no inbetween, but what about spitfire sapphires, and how do they compare to these?
Maybe I’ll get the radials. I’m still happy with my Bones x97 wheels

I was wondering the same. Just bought some dragons to try out indoors and they grip way too much, cool for rough street though.
What trucks are these? 3:20
They are the new Lurpiv trucks, they come out in May 🤫🤐

Levi's been riding 99 X-Formulas and loving em! There's definitely a wheel for everyone!
How much are they? In Europe
The next dragon wheel copy ?!
very similar to dragon for sure, lots of people have said they prefer them to a Dragon (I have never rode Dragons, so can't compare)
Is this the Shredz in Cohcranes acount?
Yea!!
This kid is riding Lurpiv. Do a review on them next!
We’re working on one! They come out next month!
Dragon 🐉 is the way to go
They're great wheels too!
These look dope!!!!

As cool as they were, I’m miffed about getting sapphires right before these were announced
Why brokie?
George Powell works & on tech and invents for years ,,, then the rest try copy . #facts .

Back in the day when 99's came out they felt way too hard now they are the standard. I always preferred 95a wheels I rarely see those anymore.
There coming in!!!!! 5 days ago.
Took us a while to get our stuff together 😅
Dragons all day
We still sell tons of Dragons! It's nice to have lots of options!
Killer wheels🎉

You handled that rude comment with class. Youre so cool for normalizing adhd 🔥
When you say 93D it means an entirely different hardness than 93A Durometer. Just a heads up.
5 years my ass i seen reynolds skating dragon wheels up until 6 months ago lmfao

Come to Fogtown riding anything but Bones, you leave a bag of bones(and by that I mean you dead, by us, in a body bag, decaying)

Bring back autobahn wheel company
😅 I think they're back, not sure who owns them these days though.
