Thanks for the sharing of this project. I have owned my 87 AW11 since 93. It has been sitting waiting for attention for a few years. Your posts/uploads have inspired me to put together a plan to work on mine.
As per my comment on the last vid, you can buy the upper part OEM brand new from Japan for around $30 and it comes with brand new bolts + the rubber trim fitted, proper TOYOTA part. No C-Pillar trim of course (though I have got 2 spare sets of those here thankfully)
Can you post where you can buy the upper c-pilar trim part for $30 from Japan? Please post that link....That sounds super reasonable. BTW...Love your video!
Nice, thanks for sharing... Just picked up a 1989 sunroof 16v... same wheels - missing one of the center caps. Do you have a spare I can buy!? Tried repairing my c pillar and then dropped one after I was just about to paint it... Agh, I'll just get the reproductions. Note - ABS cement itself is basically just a solvent with a little bit of abs dissolved in it To really have a strong repair, Put little bits of any spare ABS plastic lying around and make a old part < cement > strength part sandwich.

Wow 93 is going way back! Got my first around 94 but only had it 5 years.

Any chance you have an extra rear visor for sale?

Yeah, I've since added fiber and additional plastic structure to some of my ABS repairs. Sorry no extra caps. Enjoy that MR2!
Are the included bolts long enough to screw the visor into the c-pillars?
Trying to remember but a don't think so.
Whats the name of the glue?
ABS cement. Used for plumbing.
