      Cutting down on certain foods (tomatoes , dairy , sugar , alcohol , etc.) might help. Talk to a Doctor in Integrative Medicine. Many universities have an Integrative Medicine Department (Johns Hopkins , Duke , University of Arizona , etc). They may help you find other food triggers. I drink Nettles tea for my allergies. You can buy Nettles tea in bulk at many health food stores.

      I just got copd last summer from vaping for only a few years. The inhaled steroid symbicort worked wonders for months; almost like not being sick at all. And then a couple days before the first day of spring i hit a frickin wall. It feels like my lungs are too small and tight to get air. I cant even sleep for the last week. I pray to god it is only a new seasonal allergy thing and will get better when the allergens go away

    So I developed sinusitis just about 2 years ago. Like constant sneezing and pressure in the bridge of my nose and around my head. Last year I was out of the country and my allergies weren't as bad as this year. This 2020 I believe since we are cooped up at home it made it worse. I live with my parents and well we don't really practice dusting off each and every corner of the house as we need to and I suggested we hired someone to clean the house thoroughly because that could be the reason my mom and I suffer from allergies. They looked at me all stupid. I've had headaches down my neck, sinus pressure that is bad. I've taken pills and nasal decongestants but I still feel sinus pressure on my right temple. I feel twitching due to the pressure and I try to sneeze everything out. I live in TX and this whole summer we've had rain and I hese humidity with pollen screw me up. It really is annoying, especially when I have to study or drive. I feel confused, dizzy, sleepy. Hopefully one day I can go see an allergy specialist. I'm 25. This is not fair.

    The nasal spray dependency is only true for sprays like Afrin, which should not be used more than a few days, not corticosteroids like Flonase and Rhinocort, which are meant for long term use.

      Prove it in a double blind study with controls and placebos. Then post it in a journal of medicine and have it peer reviewed and finally corroborated by repeat studies. Enjoy your fame as, "The Human Who Cured Allergies!"

    • @Dplusithicus
      @Dplusithicus 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The placebo effect is real. Homeopathy works because of the placebo effect, even if science continues to reject the practice. "Scientists" continue to neglect a major psychological standpoint when it comes to logical processing: how you think directly relates to how you act and react. If you think that a placebo filled with sulfonamide will relieve you of your problems, then it might just do that. And as long as you believe that, nothing else will live up to the same results. I could pass you two pure sugar tablets, label one as medicine and one as a sugar tablet, and you won't know the difference other than that one tablet stopped your heart palpitations and the other one probably had no effect.

    Now I love in NC, and let me tell ya…
    Now is no joke…
    Even my right eye close have way, red and crying all the time.
    Is the dripping inside the nose that tickles so intense that it just make my eye shrink and get this crazy sneezing attack for seconds that nearly don’t let me breath.

    My severe seasonal allergy was completely gone just a couple of years after I gone vegan. Turned out that studies found dairy worsens allergies of all kind. This was completely unexpected. My autoimmune disease rheumatoid arthritis, IBS and GERD were also cured a few months after I gone vegan. So yes, we humans bring all these health problems to ourselves. And there are plenty of scientific studies to support now.

      I am wondering about that also. I know that when I have allergies, I often feel some relief and decongestant when I take a teaspoon of honey. Maybe it is just the sugar. But also, I just checked and bees do collect ragweed pollen, so I am confused, I know people saying that bee pollen works for them. Can't really understand why, we just dont collect pollens from the trees etc.. and make oral pills from that.
