I don’t know why but I thought you could pull levers with the other droid that could use all panels. Also on the two last bonus levels you need a bomb to blow up a metal thing for the spin ride push thing if I remember unless there is extra studs as well as the gate that blocks the speeder but maybe you can use the exploding bullets red brick to do it.
So when you 100% the game custom characters gain access to all abilities so 3-2 for example can be completed using 2 custom force users since they can also use droid panels. Edit: Got to the end of the video. Uhhh nevermind then lol

Everything that requires flying on that level has a work around. I think there’s 1 lever in the bunker but you can do a weird drop in glitch to get around it
in the naboo palace level you don't need a shortie character to get to the switch to open the door, you can easilly get to the other side of the pit with yoda and then you can use the triple jump glitch to reach out the platform with the button.
6:00 there’s also a tactic that speedrunners use in this level where you can skip all of the cutscenes and just shoot grievous and win in 20 seconds (see the speedrun WR of the level)

I know it makes the challenge possible. But adding player 2 kinda makes the challenge redundant. It's pretty clear the old Lego games were made to play with a friend, the whole reason you have to switch is to do the thing your friend would be doing.
In the Grievous boss fight you can also destroy all three bombs in the first go whch means you only need to leave the main platform once as Grievous will jump up to a bomb location and immediately back.
Chancellor in Peril can be done if you drop out player 2 at the end. The computer will switch them to a force user, so you are not the once switching characters

I've never particularly liked the mechanic in the Dooku and Emperor fights where you have to swap characters when he shocks you with Force Lightning. They should've instead made it so you can hold your lightsaber in a defensive state to reflect the Force Lightning back at them. After all, that's how it would realistically go down taking the movies into account. It especially irks me with Yoda, who can block Force Lightning with his hand. Why can't he do it here?!
You can cheese the Force Lightning forced switch by playing a Force Ghost Character. Also, 4-4 you started with 4-Lom, yet you ended with Jango (or Boba depending on your unlocks). I count that as a switch. Also, I would disregard forced switches from CPUs.

Well now I want to see this ranking on skywalker saga. Of course that game has an even worse time with vehicle levels. They removed all the vehicle exclusive stuff like only tie fighters being able to get into certain areas and just sort of forgot to let you be able to switch to other kinds of vehicles in freeplay mode.
sir, if you 100% the game your custom character gets every ability if you select a lightsaber as its weapon so yeah you can basicly almost complete each level without switching...almost every level....almost nvm i just saw the end lol!

The thing about using 2 custom characters is you have to pick them both, so you have to start the level with 2 players
