My most recent holy grail is the new formula of the matte Dior foundation. It’s so smooth, looks natural, medium to high coverage, holds well my oily skin and match perfectly with the laura mercier primer, at the end of the day still looks beautiful, light and the oil that comes through it’s super easy to deal and doesn’t look gross
I've tried so many new ones as well. The Dior didn't cut it, Mario either, Urban Decay was awful by the end of the day, Rhiannas was great, however, I couldn't get a good match, I'm more brown toned not golden or cool. The one I found I love is Wet n Wilds new one with Niacinamide. It lasts all day even after hiking, doesn't transfer or settle in fine lines and it's $7.00
I work at Sephora, as a fellow oily girlie, I absolutely agree that Haus Labs and KVD are on my top 3 foundations list, but the Dior Matte Skincare Foundation is absolutely amazing for our skin type and is my #1 🙂.
The apple KV I bought that makeup about a year ago and it was the worst makeup I've ever bought in my whole life. I never returned anything I returned that.
Nikkia! I need your help. It’s so hot and humid out here. Nothing stays on my face 😭 I’ve tried changing my skin prep, my primer, my powders.. it’s too oily it melts off, or super cakey, or just oily but touching up messes everything up! Tell me about all your favorites, I BEG YOU 😭 the HAUS Lab is sooo oily and nasty on me 😭
I have oily combo skin & out of the 10 foundations you ranked I’ve tried 8 of them & they didn’t work for me. The only 2 from your list that I haven’t tried is the MAC one you mentioned & the Bounce foundation. I think I’m going to try the Bounce one next. Fingers crossed. 😃

Hi Nikkia, I just paused your video, I have that Makeup By Mario foundation and absolutely love it for my mature skin and it doesn’t look like the bottle you’re showing on screen, mine has no particles that you’re talking about, maybe you got a dudd product because mine is the same colour in the bottle and I don’t have to powder it down which is a plus for my skin…back to the video now..❤️❤️
it’s always seemed wild to me when some complexion products work poorly on skin that isn’t “perfect”. when foundation’s purpose is to perfect the skin, creating an even canvas. like, if someone had genuinely flawless skin, they probably wouldn’t even feel the need to wear foundation.

The Haus Labs foundation is very sticky and emphasizes the pores. The imperfections are showing through and the foundation disappears throughout the day
Agreed. I am very fair neutral and hard to match, so I bought the Haus Labs mini 3 sampler set to determine my shade, which is fabulous idea imo. All 3 were tested in different application techniques with different primers too and I found it tough to blend out, too sheer where I really needed coverage, seemed to all concentrate on my pores & all lines/creases. Looked & felt dry on my skin without powder. It was a bummer bc it sounds like most everyone loves it. I’m oily combo & 54; also noticed my Eco & BB sponges really absorbed a lot of the foundation lol

I thought the KVD good apple foundation was discontinued. I love it but went to Sephora a couple of weeks ago to buy another bottle and they were no longer selling KVD at all and couldn’t or wouldn’t say why.

I wasted my money on the KVD foundation and it was horrible! I used it once and it was a cakey mess thst showed every fine line, wrinkle smd dry patch!!! My drugstore Loreal.Nude Tinted Serum is 💯 better and a lot cheaper

Louboutin fluide foundation and Sisley phyto-teint perfection are both SUPERB. The Sisley is especially good for oily skins
