Few points on this: -From a player perspective not much is actually going chance. It's just the names that will be different. Premier Challenge -> League Challenge | Mid Season -> League Cup. -Double headers can still exist; there will just be slightly less of them until more Organizers. We actually have a double header scheduled already at Balance Patch. Tl;dr as soon as TOs get set up at their respective leagues we will start to see more double headers. - In terms of CP, the official announcement is "more info will come soon, there will he changes to the way CP distribution will be handled". No comment can be made on whether or not it will be a good thing. - The change to running at League stores only wasn't made to push pokemon cards, there are a few reasons some of which are legalality reasons. - The amount of stores willing to host VG has quadrupled, almost every TO has a venue now in the area. We can't use the tracker as an argument right now because TOs are still getting set up to this sudden change. You will see many more VG events start to pop up. There's a lot of behind the scenes info. I don't see the scene actually dying from recent changes.
