I agree. It's my 4th version (I think) of this plot and FL in this one is probably the most childlike version of the character.
My favorite version is still the one with Yu Long and Yang Mie Mie ❤

This is the 4th version I’ve seen of this plot. It’s hard to pass Yang mei mei version. In YMM version, even the way she cries when she get beat up, and get scared when she see her old parents was so heartbreaking and felt real. The CP interaction was doting, natural and loving but not awkward. It was jsut the perfect combo of good actors with the right look, the right directing for this plot. This version is alright, the FL is still a little rookie w her acting. ML also feel like he overacts in some parts. The chemistry in all the other versions including in one is just a little more awkward. The dubbing also makes this one feel a little more artificial. I have yet to see a version of this thats as good as YMM version, and I was really open to find another good version😅. I guess it’s hard to struck gold twice lol
I agree with what you said about other versions, but there is one that I also like to watch beside the yang mei mei version. This one was just okay.

A nice version of the story cute chemistry but still lacking, why in this version they dressed the FL like a 8 year old though so many times? it was kind of creepy, in the other version I saw the FL acted kind of awkward too and the romance was weak at least here the romantic scenes and ML are better. The best version still is the Yu Long/MeiMei version the chemistry there was great and natural and the FL was just naturally cute without overdoing it and the way she was dress was better not the best but at least she didn't look like a little girl dressing.
I kind of like the other version better in that I like the actors. It’s the same story and I’m sure there will be a third version out. the only thing better about this version compared to the other version is that the translation is complete and there are no gaps

But I couldn't understand was she got hurt all the sudden when she getting her ass beat she pregnant getting slapped and knocked down, and that's the time she decided she want to run her mouth get up still talking and get slapped and knocked back down all through this movie she's been a doormat is the manipulate a little naive but then right then at that moment she decide to be heard holding her stomach head down face beats a hell and back. Pretty much she was secure in her relationship and she knew that her husband baby daddy was going to come and rescue her at some point, but it was really cute she woke him up out of his sleep to bake her something sweet to eat and then she didn't even eat it because she went back to sleep it was cute that he would get up to do that for her and then still went to work didn't even have to because it was his company I love these stories because it's really cute how they end up babying these women I would do damn near anything for them the same cold-hearted CEOs that treat everybody less than or just flat out being an ass but these women wrap them around their fingers I think that's really cool that's cute.that shit be funny and the villainous that always wear that damn red dress who told her that lipstick was cute somebody lied to her that wasn't right that particular lipstick don't look good on everybody. That comment was not a statement or comment about the movie that shit that s*** was a real life statement that lipstick is absolutely ugly on her because the lipstick itself looks cheap red lipstick in general is really cute that's not an issue it's just the cheaper brand or not that cute if it had been a nice fire engine red maybe a matte red not that shiny looking shit some people can wear it and it looks perfectly fine but on her it's just a little distracting it doesn't suit her at all it was too shiny and those facial expressions she be making while wearing that particular lipstick is hilarious I keep thinking why did they do that to her😂😂 everybody else's lipstick and makeup is spot on especially when they call themselves getting dressed up to go out wow everybody else was changing clothes all she was wearing was the red dress damn near just about every other thing that red dress along with them shiny ass lips always making appearance😂😂 and no I'm not dragging the actress or being shady I'm talking about that ridiculous ass makeup her character that she was portraying as an actress the lipstick choice could have been better😂

I think this become my second favorite version after re-watching, of course YuYang CP version still the best, all the other versions I've seen that either followed the original exactly or made changes pale in comparison, I either don't feel any chemistry between the leads, looked awkward or I think did a bad job in casting the ML/FL, some ML looked way too young others too old, or they just don't look/act the part the right way. The thing I still don't like about this one is FL's wardrobe why is she dress like that 7 year old girl most of the time but that the leads were still kind of cute not like the original or course, the chemistry there was effortless and sweet.

I'm 9 minutes in and I'm already irritated! For someone who is constantly harping on about not letting people know she's pregnant, she certainly clutches on to her stomach an awful lot!! She might as well shout it from the rooftops if that's the case!! LEAVE....YOUR STOMACH....ALONE!!!!!!!!

in her name so she already had money coming to her anyway because she was recognized as the heir to that family her, because she was recognized by her then dying grandfather and she was recognized by her father so she's the heir to what they had going on and not a baby daddy / husband fiance whatever you want to call him find all that stuff over to her, Frozen she said she got some money of her own she's getting married because she genuinely love this man and he loves her. These movies the female lead has no backbone, common sense, or no sense of self-preservation she know her mother and father whoever voted on her brother. Can I see a movie where the leading lady has self-respect backbone dignity inner strength and still come out on top in the end. These women being the victims is getting real old. The husband boyfriend or fiance misunderstands her treats her like other trash then down through the movie finds out he misunderstood finds out the truth repentance and love her so much like come on make that makes sense. Even weird ass Hollywood have more imagination with their movies, the Indian Bali movies have more imagination, I'm just saying I have nothing against these movies but it would be nice if they put a little more thought in their movies for entertainment value. But in a pinch when everyone is asleep and it's 1:32 in the morning and you're the only one up and you're bored these movies come in handy.

It's a spin on the Lolita book story (older man and teenage girl). It is now also a sub culture of 20 something year old ladies presenting themselves as impressionable teenage girls for the "aesthetic" or so they say. Read up on it and it will make you think.
My second time watching this movie is good but how they write these parents that mistreat these girls sell them off beat them how they figure they going to still beat these married women kidnapped them and get money for them from their husband know when she pregnant but still hitting her. Why do they act so surprised when he come through there and whoop everybody's ass and take heads off bodies no and this girl is pregnant but they want her husband's money who writes this shit far-fetched. Then when the husbands find the women and they blow through and snap on everybody. They got the audacity to plead for their own safety then say they realize they was wrong so you realize you was wrong when you get caught for doing all the fuckary and shenanigans literally feel no remorse as they doing the kidnapping the beating and the extortion they see nothing wrong with it until they get caught, being played in bed and say I'm sorry I know I was wrong😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
SMDH at stereotypical remade script with vicious greedy family members abusing spineless easily manipulated aka bullied FL...maybe a writer will create a savy kick ass FL pursed by CEO whose not easily manipulated by Sfl or parent.
