A good lost memory through the traumas plot. What I love the most is the boy “xiao bai”. His acting is natural and great. The ML is trying to get her back and giving her time & independence to choose. Not so much excess drama. But the ending doesn’t seem like a real ending. There is no seen consequences for ex gf. Overall a good one !!

Horrible title, and not what the story is about at all. It was a totally new story line for me, and it took several turns I was not expecting at all. I was interested the whole story.
This included the often used trope of a man being drugged with an aphrodisiac and assaulting an innocent person as a result.
By unlike other shows, it included serious emotional consequences for this. (Most c dramas portray everything as ok as long as the guy takes "responsibility"; I cannot express how much I disagree with that. People will be traumatized by the experience, and morally I find the culture attitudes shown to be horrific.)
What was even more unique was the man suffered trauma because of the experience as well. It was not addressed as much as the Female Lead's trauma, but it was clear the Male Lead felt violated and it affected him for years. Overtly it was only mentioned a few times by his mother, but it was always effecting him; his relationships with other women was never the same, and he almost couldn't bear to look at or deal with his son.
Depression was also addressed. While the story wasn't totally accurate in terms of symptoms and treatment, it had several important messages. Things like... Seeking treatment is important, and You have to love yourself before you can love anyone else. Deep stuff for a mini drama.
Not the best story, but different from other mini dramas I've seen. And at least the writers tried to address important issues other stories ignore. I definitely appreciate that.

i agree with almost all of your observations, that is also what i noticed about these story. although, for me these is one of the best cdrama I've ever watched. this is also the first time i felt that the creator of this story treat it's viewers with respect and with value. the story is not perfect but it's very realistic. a very sensitive issues about mental health, it's causes and effects are well presented and for me it was addressed properly in the story. their love story is very unique so far. although, i also hope that their happy ending should have shown longer 🤭
but anyway, highly recommended. give it a try 😁

The title was misleading, and I almost passed this good drama up. Very attractive cast with good acting.Unlike other dramas where the Ml is drugged and assaults the Fl, the producer showed the remorse and mental anguish he suffered. The Fl was so traumatized that she became depressed and suffered amnesia from the incident.I liked that the Ml's guilt for 6 years finally allowed him to accept and cherish his loving son. I admired that the Ml wished for her to heal and agreed to her request to divorce. In the end, I feel the Fl loved and wanted to be in her son's life and with the help of those who loved her would begin to start her life over. Ww.

There is a version of this drama with Bai Yan and Lui Quing also. Both are different but good. A perfect version would be this storyline with Bai Yan and Lui Qing. The other versions storyline was a little too sad, rushed, and less romantic.

Everything was good but I didn't like the fact that leads never considered the child's feelings when getting into a relationship or breaking up. Even after she remembered her past there was no emotional scene between the child and mother. She casually left him by giving a shake hand/hug when she decided to break-up again. I understand she went through a lot, it was painful for her and everything but there was no parental love in this drama. The child showed more maturity in every situation than these two leads, he was very understanding in every damn situation.
I completely agree. Was waiting for a big scene where she realizes the child is her biological son and runs to him/hugs him/cries. Instead she just…doesn’t do anything. Then the kid begged them not to get married if they’re going to divorce easy and the first time there’s a bump in the road the FL is like DIVORCE. Like…WTH?

The title of this drama actually has nothing to do with the content of the show, and it's actually a really different kind of drama. No one is pretending to be poor, the characters have REAL problems that need to be discussed and addressed, and for the majority of the show, the leads are in remonstration and courting mode. That is to say, they have to discover and LEARN about each other, bearing through the things they don't like about each other, and learning to better themselves so they can form a healthy relationship from their resolved traumas.
Aside: The ML really should have told her about her amnesia as soon as he found out instead of trying to break up with her so she'd never remember (which he IMMEDIATELY regretted), because there's no such thing as a secret anywhere in this world. He missed his chance to craft his own narrative and seem like a fellow sympathetic victim of circumstance instead of just a liar.
She is a doctor so she's expected to be smart enough to know her mental case. And also a doctor is also aware about her physical changes especially after giving birth. The writer of this story should consider some medical facts.
