I feel as though you posted this video and half expected/almost feared a backlash with regard to people saying the contents was repetitive/nothing new etc etc. As someone that has been following your channel for quite a few years it saddens me that you have to put up with any such comments or negativity and I sometimes suspect that that is one of the reasons why you post so few videos nowadays which is such a shame. Personally I find your content consistent and honest which I value highly. Your videos follow on from each other, your technique and the products you use are consistent. Yes you switch it up just a bit so this time it was all about the stila product you love but the rest of your technique and routine is consistent and therefore to me this suggests that your content is honest and reliable. THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT DAY IN AND DAY OUT and what you show us is not just for you tube. This means a lot so please don't think that showing yourself using some of the same products or repeating steps in each video is a bad thing. To me it makes you real and not someone that will jump on one thing and then the other for the colabs or money. I buy many of the products that you consistently use as to me they must be good if you keep reaching for them. I am now in my mid 30s with two kids and my make up is the best it has ever been thanks to you. Finally in terms of your content I feel that as a working corporate professional I need look put together, pretty and flawless on a day to day basis and I can achieve that from the looks you put up. Nobody wants to go out in actual real life with some of the crazy make up we see ppl on you tube doing so there is no need to go down that route Kaushal!!! Ps my kids love you too and have grown up with me watching you in the background PPS I don't think I've ever posted such a long comment oops PPps the only thing I can't master is applying falsies. Could you do a video and show us or share some hints n tips? Xxxxxx
Hi Rehana, thank you so much for such a lovely comment. You've hit the nail on the head there - I've been almost scared to upload most of this year because TH-cam doesn't seem to be the same as what it was a couple years ago. It makes me sad just thinking about it. It's effected me mentally, physically and spiritually a lot. I haven't been myself and that's the worst part. TH-cam now seems to be all about who can make viral videos, crazy testing videos etc. I tried that, and slowly realised that it's not me. I am also in my 30s now and I have realised that I should make content I am happy about and want to make. I can't go and please +2million subscribers on TH-cam any more, nor the people who watch my content and aren't subscribed. That's a lot of people, opinions and comments I have to deal with. It's a lot on any person. Some people want to transition into a 'TH-cam celebrity', but I really don't. Good on the ones who want to do that, but I just don't have any aspiration for that. I don't have a crazy big personality or 'persona' that other TH-camrs have - I'm honestly just a normal girl that could be your next door neighbour and you wouldn't even know. Falsies video I've had quite a few messages on but my technique changes a lot which is why I don't know if I can film something - but I can try? Every time you use a lot of products for your skin , it’s never been a problem for me. I like the way you freestyle and “break the makeup rules”. I have oily skin, so I will just freestyle from what you are doing with your more dry skin , then follow you - then freestyle adapted to oily skin - then follow you and so on ! You show that true glam makeup takes A LOT of products and that’s good - and true . Then depending on whatever day it is I can freestyle from your tutorial or follow it completely- love it !!!

Let's face it, how many of us are going to wear those heavy Instagram looks with rainbow colours and dramatic lashes? Most of us love quick, easy and go to kind of looks... Challenges are fun as long as they don't drain the person who's doing it... Kaushal, you don't need to be hard on yourself! Be yourself and needn't join the bandwagon! Couple of suggestions I would love give you is do like a skincare routine for 30 days - sort of before and after... The products you have been loving/hating and PR hauls! It's hard to find a good shade if your have an olive skin tone like me. All the colors are sooo yellow!

Yayy another tutorial!! Can you do one on how to apply lashes? I recently bought my very first pair of also Primark lashes, but I just can't get them on. They lost their round shape aswell and when I got one side put in place, the other one lifted up... Any tips??
94Sapphira I don’t wear lashes but I’m guessing you have to maneuver them a bit to fit your eye shape. Or trim the ends or something
