I'm a makeup artist in mexico especifically in merida yucatan and this is the technique we use for bridal makeup, here its so humid so we need to be sealling (with setting spray fix+ or all nighther) every layer of makeup so it lasts up to 24 hrs! Haha
Can I use a setting spray with alcohol for this technique?
Foujia Mou Hi beautiful! You can try! And see how your skin responds to that! Personally I dont recomend setting spray with alcohol because its not good for the skin, you need to see if it has the permitted amount of alcohol. It tends to dry the skin even more of what we want. You can use it to sealed only at the end the last layer. :)

Just spray with lemon and sugar. Stops the mehndi drying out so quick and flaking off.
Ayesha Tabassum Divya makes her own henna and she sprays her clients hands with a protectant. I got my Eid henna done by her last year and it lasted for weeks!

I tried this tonight with different brands, but same steps and I figured I would look like a hot mess when I got home. Temps were in triple digits, humidity above 50%, dew point in the 80s, heat index at midnight is over 100° still! Everything held up and looked FABULOUS!!! It took a little longer than usual, but probably because it was my first time doing it this way. This will be my new routine for when I need my makeup to not budge at all!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Here in Singapore the humidity level is super high all year round so I'm very uncomfortable with using even moisturiser on my face on a regular basis. This routine is something I can definitely get on board with. Thank you for the detailed tutorial. Can't wait to try it out. 😁

Gurllllll, I tried the All Nighter setting spray as primer and that was bomb!!!! backstory: oily skin, asian, don't like to set my makeup with a lot of powder and monsoon season so if my face is not being oily itself, the weather would melt everything that i put on my face. i sprayed this before foundation bcz i was running really late and couldn't find a primer. i was running around, some parts in the rain, for at least 9 hours and i did not need to touch it up once. everything looks perfect and i swear i only sprayed very small amount! now this is my go-to thing now!!

Beyond thankful for this and all the future wedding related videos coming up! I'm getting married end of this year/first week of Jan 2019 and it'll be in India (I live in Canada). Literally all I have been doing the past couple months is testing products out, going in and out of sephora, buying and returning because I feel like nothing is working. And this might be because I don't even know what I should be getting and I haven't found any youtube videos with "humidity/heat proof WEDDING makeup routine" until NOW - thank you so much!
