    Bro I thank reddit so much that they showed you to me. This info is really dope I have always been thinking of a way to make my videos look dope inside of live and I am really happy that I finally found something that is really dope 🙂🙏. May all your wishes come true man.

    Great video. As soon as I heard the word Max for Live I started to reach for the stop button. I'm glad I persevered and continued watching.

    Wow man! This is freaking cool. I'm that person that's a little hesitant to dive into M4L device creation although I have messed around with changing the colors on some devices I downloaded so they would be easier to see with my custom color template. You explain this so clearly that I learned more about M4L from this video than any other one I've seen. Thanks for the great info!

    TOP NOTCH - I had zero idea you could do any of this, it's awesome, was up and running with visuals in the same amount of time it took to watch this. Thank you so much, such a great tutorial!!!

    Dope, got it working. Racked my brain for an hour with no M4L device response…finally got rid of current M4L stand-alone and went with straight current Ableton Live Suite 11 bundled M4L. Bizarre, but it worked. Thanks boss 🎉🎉🎉

    I had no idea M4L came with Vizzies pre-made video effect objects! This video is going to be the thing that pushes me into creating M4l devices for the first time. Glad I subbed after watching one of your other videos, thanks for sharing :)

    WHOA!!! Holy crap this was AMAZING!!!! I recently had a Max For Live class and I thought it would be overwhelming but once you understand the lay of the land.....there is soo much you could do with it. My only question is, how do project or send out the video to say a green screen or video projection source as a background for your Ableton Live performance? Is it done through a video capture like OBS? thank you again Zaak!! Your videos are always supportive and exciting.

    Thanks for the great Tutorial! Question: I cannot find out how to bring the Audio Stereo Mastermix to the AVRecordr ... 😕 Would be fun to create live Videos through sound but also be able to record the video and audio at the same time.

  • @ladaniramos

    I loved this !! thank you! but how I can enable the video for saving purposes? when I export the audio the video format is not enable.

    • @Madmohawkfilms
      @Madmohawkfilms ปีที่แล้ว

      Theres a recorder feature under Outputs too, add that to your blocks sent to the Presentation window. I got that far but not getting audio saved with the visuals. I mean I COULD make the window Full Screen and use OBS to Screen Capture it but I’m probably just missing adding another Module or something.

    Followed along, got it working. Swapped out the one you showed for the AVRecorder and struggled to find right place to tap off for audio finally got it. Works well! Thank you!!!! Any way to change resolution AVRecorder uses from 720P to 1080P?

    You are such a great teacher. Thanks for your careful method of explanation. Just wondering, how does one become a certified ableton trainer? I am an English teacher, used to be a music teacher though, and I would be interested in taking this ableton certification. Let me know if you see this, thank you again.

    Oh MAN this is so much fun----we chatted a bit on REDDIT (any1particular). I have a question. Can this be rendered out as a video along with the music? Can it be automated using Ableton's automation with the macros et?. I'm so excited I haven't bothered to try it yet. I'm going to go back and explore video manipulation. I'm very interested in taking your classes (due to covid finances are tight though at the moment). Thank you!

  • @ChuckSilva
    @ChuckSilva 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    The MultiBand EQ messes with the signal though. I'm trying to think of a way to side chain (or find a way to mute the 'vizzy track/return' etc so it doesn't effect the audio signal) the parameters to the LFO (high-mid-low) without affecting the signal? (hope that made sense?)

    How do I export the visuals as a movie or mp4 file? When going to export I can't find what I'm supposed to do? I've tried making my return that the visuals are on as the export but the option at the bottom for exporting as a video is grayed out?

    super duper cool! I have saved my device and opened it in the presentation mode, I see the device in live, however it is greyed out. Any idea what step in the process I may have missed? thank you

  • @jamespijpstra

    Hope this makes sense, but there doesn't seem to be audio going through the Vizzie Max device. I have the audio track sending to the send track where there is the Vizzie Max device and multiband envelope follower, however the sound doesn't appear to be making it to the multiband envelope follower until I remove or disable the Vizzie Max device. The Max device seems to be stopping the sound. Any ideas?

    • @jamespijpstra
      @jamespijpstra 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Figured it out. I had originally deleted the Audio from/to Live element of the Max device.

    Awesome info! I wish you had used some more 'basic' tracks to show more of the effects tied to frequencies. But since you were gracious enough to share, I'll check out the device! Lots of opportunity here, thanks!

    Wholy fk. Alice in Wonderland here we come. Love m4l devices but never explored like this for visuals…dope walkthrough 🙌🖤😎 btw for anyone bugging on this, the generator section is really similar to stuff you can do with geometry nodes work in “blender”. The other great rabbit 🐇 hole…break out the caffeine and have fun!

    How the heck do you do this with phase inversion instead of EQ3?

    • @waffleassembly6779
      @waffleassembly6779 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CatalyzeMusicAcademy Oh cool. I hadn't known you could do that in utility. I'd always used the multiband compressor for this, but I'm gonna copy you and start using the EQ3 since it takes up a little less space

    Im not scared of the learning curve. Im frustrated with such little things as trying to get playr to work and having so little help without diving deep into manuals. if it was just the package that needed to be installed fine, prob restart needed without being prompted? eeeh ok. but also having to change this in the preferences and nobody saying anything, thats the shitty iceberg/learning curve imo.

  • @deadmusik9969

    How do you stop the projectors from opening multiple. it skews the origin of the visual to weird places and then there will be a window open I cannot close.
    Let me know if you have ran into this!.. Thanks
