Hey Francis, good to see you back man! thanks for doing an update at Porties 👍Good to see the squid are around again, and good size by the look of that 30cm specimen😯 Can I ask if you find it's more productive there on an outgoing tide or incoming tide please? I noticed you were there very early by the dark footage, is this better early morning there, rather than afternoon into evenings? Also do you think wind direction makes a difference, Southerlies as opposed to Northerlies? Appreciate your insight🙂

hi bud, apologies for the late reply. Productive wise- i do well on outgoing tide at Porties. I like early morning to improve chances. And just enjoy quiet calm scenery and also to end session mid day Afternoon to evening is also good esp after work - depending on water conditions. I did squid a few times in evenings. Yea wind direction is important. Ideally to get the south winds as you will be fishing right side of pier. It is still possible with North winds if its low - moderate. For me tides > wind > weather . Sometimes it can change. Like incoming tide can produce as well. But quite rare for me though. Disclaimer: This is for Porties and based on my own experience. I understand people experience might varies and i respect that. Cheers!
