Most foreign people that didn't grow up with the Efteling seem to not get the same love/a different love as we Dutchies do. Nostalgia is a big factor in the love for the Efteling, so to see you still getting it without having that nostalgia and the memories from your childhood to help you to fall in love with the park this way, is just amazing. As a lifelong fan myself I can totally see that you enjoy, see and love the park the same way as I do. That intro for example proves it to me. That's 100% how we fans see the Efteling too. But also the love for the Fairytale Forest is one of those things that not everybody has. The winter Efteling is great too btw! Visiting the Efteling in the dark is a whole different experience. Can't wait for the vlog.

When I was a kid, that long neck was the highest thing in the park. That's before the trees even grew. You could see long neck from the highway as you were driving to the park (when his head was up) and we would always get so excited to see him because it meant we were nearly there. When I go to the park now and see how high those trees are, it's hard to imagine! And I guess I'm just really old XD

One thing I think Efteling does very well, is how immersive you get in the entire park. The waiting lines are in theme for the rides, the music everywhere is made for the park, so you don’t suddenly hear modern music, when you’re walking around in parts that look medieval. I always find that jarring in other parks, it gives a feel of a glorified permanent carnival. I’ve been going to de Efteling since I was a kid, I’m 46 now, and I still get excited about the park. My absolute favorite is Droomvlucht, the music, the smells, the way the temperature shifts throughout the ride. Love it.
I have to confess I have become obsessed this place because it has the captivating power of Disney yet it’s not Disney. And it literally feels like you’ve entered another world that is very unique and inspired. Now I’ve never been, I would love to in the future, and I have to say watching these TH-cam videos really makes me wish I spoke Dutch so that I could enjoy them more.
I LOOOOVE how you guys seem to vibe with the same things i love so much about this park.Being originally from Belgium, this is the park my parents used to take me and my sis quite often when we were kids. Visited the park last year after not having been there for at least twenty years. And walking through the fairy tale forest truly choked me up because so many childhood memories came back.It's crazy how much bigger the Efteling got over the years... and how well they preserved the "Anton Pieck" style in everything they've added. This is exactly the park where you can just stroll around,surrounded by gorgeous nature and really relax. I've been living in Paris for many years now, and i deeply love Disneyland, but the Efteling will always be the park that stole my heart many years ago. Missing the days my mom and i were crouching on the ground to watch a dwarf playing a tiny piano in a treestump.

De Efteling,fun for Small and Big kids. I am dutch but live in spain and my wife is from Argentina. 6 years ago we went to holland for 2 week sWith her mom and dad. A bit visiting the family and for the rest hanging out the tourist. Her dad and my wife are still talking with sparkles in their eyes about De Efteling. Just before her mom passed away she told me that De Efteling was the best she had experianced in her last 2 years.She was informed that she had leucemia,but she enjoyed it that much. This morning we watched your video and ALL the supermoments of that day came back. Thanks for posting the video and keeping the memory,s to my mother in law ALIVE.
The intro reminds me of my grandpa, he used to always make movies and honestly, you could not even tell if a professional or and amateur made them. It was something he always enjoyed doing, making movies and them watching them with my family. We have a whole lot of movies where we went to the Efteling. Recently, a few months ago, he passed away. I miss him.
Great vlog and wonderful editing. The Efteling is truly a family park for all ages. I once went there with my parents and a friend. My friend and I have spent the day on the 'wilder' rides and my parents enjoyed the calmer rides, Sprookjesbos, Carousel, etc. all day.

You should buy the magical wand and touch the signs all over the park. The treasure chest cash machine wil open up a bit and start smoking. Obviously it can’t open completely because it’s locked with that big lock and chains. It’s a great feature in the park and justifies the purchase of that interactive magical wand.
It’s been a year exactly today since I went to Efteling last. It’s such an amazing park and this vlog brings back so many happy memories before everything that’s happened over the last 6 months. Once again, another amazing vlog
I don't know if you are ever gonna see this comment this late :') but I just wanna say thank you for making such a beautiful vid.. I grew up with the efteling like legit almost in my backyard, had an annual pass since I was 3 years old, is litterly the place where I could grow up and be all the time. When I was a teen I had a huge group of friends I met there and had so much fun with. I started working for the efteling from when I was 16 years old. This was such a good experience too, they take such good care of everyone and it is really magical. When I turned 22 I had to say my goodbyes and, sadly, never went back to the park since.. Im planning on going soon again with my niece that just turned 3. So the age when I went for the first time! Wich means a lot to me. The perfect captured shots from you really made me emotional, it brought back so many happy childhood memories, im so gratefull for such a magical and special childhood. I legit would not be the person I am if I was not able to grow up there. Thanks for the amazing video dude!

The efteling really captured our hearts and we've recently visted again last week too! I can't wait for Danse Macabre next year and I'm hoping to create another video like this on our next visit.
Even after visiting this park many times, it always feels like a magical world. i actually dont really like being on rides, so usually I dont go to themeparks, but here there are many gentle rides here and just walking through the beautiful park and enjoy the scenery is more than enough. this is why this park is also loved by grandparents who enjoy the park and see their grandchildren having the most wonderful time.
Amazing vlog! Really captures the magic so well! What I love about Efteling is they really keep certain bits of the park that I have fond memories of since I was a kid in place, and just walking around certain areas in the fairytale forest makes me feel like a little kid again. I vividly remember the waterlilies from that time, and I've recently been there again and even though it is just one space where it all happens it is the amazing music and the whimsical characters that are still such fun to watch. And I enjoy it so much to pass that on to my two little boys.
Had this recommended to me to watch to show the full glory of the park. I was not disappointed. What a lovely cinematic presentation for Efteling! Good presentation from both of you. Somewhere we’d love to go this year and very much hope to. Keep making the blogs guys definitely 5 ⭐️
Fantastic video of my favourite themepark. As a dutchie, and i live 10 min form Efteling, i go there at least once a month. Efteling gave me my first rollercoaster experience as a child. And when i was blessed with my own child, i couldn't wait for her to be old enough so i could take her to Efteling. She was 2 and now as an 11 jear old it's save to say that she's experianced every ride multiple times. Of all parks, and we've seen many, Efteling is stil our favourite. The atmosphere is fantastic. It's like Efteling has it's own heartbeat and soul. No matter how many times we go there, every time we go trough the entrance, it feels like instantly stepping into a differend world. It's magical. And You've captured it greatly. Thank you! At the end of this video you say that you are going to Phantasialand next. I hope you have tried Taron there. One of my favourite coasters 👌🏻

Very nice video! For your Vogelrok question. There are some fans in Vogelrok but those are turned off. The fans are located at the lifthill for giving you the effect you go higher into the 'sky' but they are turned off for a new smoke effect at the beginning of the ride.

I love this vlog. And that while I live only 20 minutes away from the park and have a annual pass for over 15 years. Thank you so much. About the wind in Vogelrok. They only blow wind in your face on the lifthill to make it feel go faster (and higher) then it does. After the lifthill all wind is natural.

so many memories from this place, even though it's about 20 years ago I last been there. As a teenager I used to go every year together with my cousin, one year we went in the python 24 times in one day. And we always brought some old bread to cause pandemonium in the carp pond.
The founder of the park wanted all the roads to be curved. Because 'behind every curve, you have the ability to surprise people.' As said before, what a beautiful intro!

Very cool video. And amzing that you "feel" the park. The park is embedded in Dutch culture and the ambiance is absorbed into our language as well. The word "eftelinggevoel" or efteling feeling in English is used by many to describe a feeling of warmth, coziness and something magical when visiting a place.

Went there in the early fiftees ! I remember things from the 'sprookjesbos' and the mushrooms that play a Bach menuet on harpsichord. Made a great impression on me (5 years old) So great that it really captured me: l became a harpsichord player in my adulthood. I think that when still intact, it must be a museum now . And from what I see in your video they expended a whole lot and keeping their stuff mechanical . If that is true l find it very sympathic
I just found this because I miss the Efteling a lot, but woahh the camera work and cinematic shots are so well done! It's been said many many times by now but you captured the beauty and organized-chaotic-ness of the park so well I really hope you enjoyed your time there as much as I loved seeing this

The vogelrock does blow wind but it's to mimic the wings of the vulture. I live in the Netherlands and I've been here alot. My favourite is still the panda dream and the pirana. Love that you're doing this!! And also, if you love roller coasters, you should go to Walibi here in the Netherlands, that park is also alot of fun!! Especially during Halloween time.
Oooo interesting! That does make sense though. We love Pirana and it's shame a we didn't get to do it this time. I'm addicted to the soundtrack! Haha. We visited Walibi Holland last year and it's a great park. It has such a part atmosphere and brilliant rides. The Dutch really know how to build immersive experiences.
@@ParkSpill Same, the soundtrack is amazing. I just love how you two show the park and really capture it's magic. It's even better in the winter, they theme the whole park in this amazing winter wonderland. Complete with hot chocolate booths and ice skating parts in it.
You know, Eftelings Fata Morgana has no animatronics whatsoever. Everything that moves, the puppets and so on, are all driven mechanically by this amazing system of gears, wires and cams. This system was designed and build by Efteling which they have a patent on. I couldn't believe it when I heard this and absolutely blew my mind. But they have this since the opening of the ride in the late 80's. Stunning!
Great video guys, I've been visiting Efteling for the last 35 years and it never loses its magic. Back there next with my 5 year old daughter for her 1st visit....so excited.
Your camera work for the 'in between collages' is stunningly wonderful. It really makes the park stand out to its magic and charm. - Also that Mother Goat in the Fairytale Forest scared the crap out of me as a kid. Since she looked so real.- Efteling is my childhood park. I used to work there for three years in my twenties. They say the Efteling feeling runs in your blood. And you definitely captured it in this vlog.

ParkSpill 100% agree. At the time I worked at Efteling I was stationed at the antique Carroussel Palace, later rotating with Dreamflight, Villa Volta (which was brand new at the time, and still is one of my favorite rides) and Land van Laaf. The park was less commercially organized at that time, and we had so much fun and freedom working there, going around the park after working times. My best memory is walking through the Fairytale Forest before opening times. In the morning mists with no one around this was a truly magical experience. I sure hope you enjoy your next visit and spot some more details and hidden gems. The park is stacked with them.

My favorite themepark ever! Go there every year at least once. This year twice. Also did winter efteling. There is something amazing about it not even Disney can compare with.
One of the stories is the least known I think, when you are in the square with the donkey you can hear trumpets in the background. It's a story of 6 princes who want a wizard to make them magical clock with a bell, but refuse to pay for it. The wizard's servant tries to sell them the clock for less but forgets a part of the bell, the wizard catches them and curses the princes to blow on their trumpets every 15 minutes and his servant to ring the bell. It's on a tape we had when I was very little and I remember listening to it on long car rides. I think it was a tape from the Efteling itself, with all the fairy tales from the forest on it. I imagine you can still buy the audio versions on CD. :)
Oh cool! I love these stories! In the UK we are only aware of the Disney fairytales and the famous Grimm tales. It's been so amazing learning these new ones. I really like the dark aspects to them haha!

O wow. This has to be one of the best intro's of the Efteling I have seen. Great montage, pretty nice shots, good music and in total a great impression of the Efteling. I have spend my childhood at this place, and the first 1.10 min of this video made the magic happen for me again. If you ever go again I would love to guide you to some beautiful places for a shot. If you love the summer Efteling, try next year the Winter Efteling. It is so lovely with the Christmas theme and the lights with campfires! Even in Januari you still get in to the Christmas Spirit! Also the Fairytale forrest is so cute then!

This is such a fantastic video! We visit Efteling every two years and it is in our opinion the best theme park in the world! You have captured its magic perfectly and shown what a special place Efteling truly is. Our Holiday this August was unfortunately cancelled but we were lucky enough to spend Christmas there last year and experienced our first winter Efteling which was spectacular! My husband is half dutch so has been visiting the park since he was a little boy, but Efteling has become our favourite family holiday destination and it's so wonderful when others love it as much as we do! Watching this has left me longing to return and I can't wait till next August! Thankyou 😊🍄

I live pretty much next to the park (litterally a 5 minute walk), so I grew up with it and was lucky enough to work there (which was amazing!). One thing I think Efteling does very well, is how immersive you get in the entire park. The waiting lines are in theme for the rides, the music everywhere is made for the park, so you don’t suddenly hear modern music, when you’re walking around in parts that look medieval. I always find that jarring in other parks, it gives a feel of a glorified permanent carnival. I’ve been going to de Efteling since I was a kid, I’m 46 now, and I still get excited about the park. My absolute favorite is Droomvlucht, the music, the smells, the way the temperature shifts throughout the ride. Love it.
I have to confess I have become obsessed this place because it has the captivating power of Disney yet it’s not Disney. And it literally feels like you’ve entered another world that is very unique and inspired. Now I’ve never been, I would love to in the future, and I have to say watching these TH-cam videos really makes me wish I spoke Dutch so that I could enjoy them more.
It's even better when you're there! Your feet will hate you at the end of the day but it's WORTH!

I LOOOOVE how you guys seem to vibe with the same things i love so much about this park.Being originally from Belgium, this is the park my parents used to take me and my sis quite often when we were kids. Visited the park last year after not having been there for at least twenty years. And walking through the fairy tale forest truly choked me up because so many childhood memories came back.It's crazy how much bigger the Efteling got over the years... and how well they preserved the "Anton Pieck" style in everything they've added. This is exactly the park where you can just stroll around,surrounded by gorgeous nature and really relax. I've been living in Paris for many years now, and i deeply love Disneyland, but the Efteling will always be the park that stole my heart many years ago. Missing the days my mom and i were crouching on the ground to watch a dwarf playing a tiny piano in a treestump.

De Efteling,fun for Small and Big kids. I am dutch but live in spain and my wife is from Argentina. 6 years ago we went to holland for 2 week sWith her mom and dad. A bit visiting the family and for the rest hanging out the tourist. Her dad and my wife are still talking with sparkles in their eyes about De Efteling. Just before her mom passed away she told me that De Efteling was the best she had experianced in her last 2 years.She was informed that she had leucemia,but she enjoyed it that much. This morning we watched your video and ALL the supermoments of that day came back. Thanks for posting the video and keeping the memory,s to my mother in law ALIVE.
The intro reminds me of my grandpa, he used to always make movies and honestly, you could not even tell if a professional or and amateur made them. It was something he always enjoyed doing, making movies and them watching them with my family. We have a whole lot of movies where we went to the Efteling. Recently, a few months ago, he passed away. I miss him.

The Efteling is truly a family park for all ages. I once went there with my parents and a friend. My friend and I have spent the day on the 'wilder' rides and my parents enjoyed the calmer rides, Sprookjesbos, Carousel, etc. all day.

I was soo afraid of the troll in the tree when I was a child.... hahaha. This park holds so much nostalgia.
You should buy the magical wand and touch the signs all over the park. The treasure chest cash machine wil open up a bit and start smoking. Obviously it can’t open completely because it’s locked with that big lock and chains. It’s a great feature in the park and justifies the purchase of that interactive magical wand.
Too bad the onride music on max and moritz wasn't working. The music really makes that ride for me.

I don't know if you are ever gonna see this comment this late :') but I just wanna say thank you for making such a beautiful vid.. I grew up with the efteling like legit almost in my backyard, had an annual pass since I was 3 years old, is litterly the place where I could grow up and be all the time. When I was a teen I had a huge group of friends I met there and had so much fun with. I started working for the efteling from when I was 16 years old. This was such a good experience too, they take such good care of everyone and it is really magical. When I turned 22 I had to say my goodbyes and, sadly, never went back to the park since.. Im planning on going soon again with my niece that just turned 3. So the age when I went for the first time! Wich means a lot to me.
The perfect captured shots from you really made me emotional, it brought back so many happy childhood memories, im so gratefull for such a magical and special childhood. I legit would not be the person I am if I was not able to grow up there. Thanks for the amazing video dude!

Even after visiting this park many times, it always feels like a magical world. i actually dont really like being on rides, so usually I dont go to themeparks, but here there are many gentle rides here and just walking through the beautiful park and enjoy the scenery is more than enough. this is why this park is also loved by grandparents who enjoy the park and see their grandchildren having the most wonderful time.
It truly is an amazing day for everyone, whatever age! It's great they have gentle rides next to thrilling rides so families can all stay together.

Amazing vlog! Really captures the magic so well! What I love about Efteling is they really keep certain bits of the park that I have fond memories of since I was a kid in place, and just walking around certain areas in the fairytale forest makes me feel like a little kid again. I vividly remember the waterlilies from that time, and I've recently been there again and even though it is just one space where it all happens it is the amazing music and the whimsical characters that are still such fun to watch. And I enjoy it so much to pass that on to my two little boys.
Had this recommended to me to watch to show the full glory of the park. I was not disappointed. What a lovely cinematic presentation for Efteling! Good presentation from both of you. Somewhere we’d love to go this year and very much hope to. Keep making the blogs guys definitely 5 ⭐️

Fantastic video of my favourite themepark. As a dutchie, and i live 10 min form Efteling, i go there at least once a month. Efteling gave me my first rollercoaster experience as a child. And when i was blessed with my own child, i couldn't wait for her to be old enough so i could take her to Efteling. She was 2 and now as an 11 jear old it's save to say that she's experianced every ride multiple times.
Of all parks, and we've seen many, Efteling is stil our favourite. The atmosphere is fantastic. It's like Efteling has it's own heartbeat and soul. No matter how many times we go there, every time we go trough the entrance, it feels like instantly stepping into a differend world. It's magical. And You've captured it greatly. Thank you!
At the end of this video you say that you are going to Phantasialand next. I hope you have tried Taron there. One of my favourite coasters 👌🏻

Very nice video! For your Vogelrok question. There are some fans in Vogelrok but those are turned off. The fans are located at the lifthill for giving you the effect you go higher into the 'sky' but they are turned off for a new smoke effect at the beginning of the ride.

About the wind in Vogelrok. They only blow wind in your face on the lifthill to make it feel go faster (and higher) then it does. After the lifthill all wind is natural.

so many memories from this place, even though it's about 20 years ago I last been there. As a teenager I used to go every year together with my cousin, one year we went in the python 24 times in one day. And we always brought some old bread to cause pandemonium in the carp pond.

The word "eftelinggevoel" or efteling feeling in English is used by many to describe a feeling of warmth, coziness and something magical when visiting a place.

The vogelrock does blow wind but it's to mimic the wings of the vulture. I live in the Netherlands and I've been here alot. My favourite is still the panda dream and the pirana. Love that you're doing this!! And also, if you love roller coasters, you should go to Walibi here in the Netherlands, that park is also alot of fun!! Especially during Halloween time.

We visited Walibi Holland last year and it's a great park. It has such a part atmosphere and brilliant rides. The Dutch really know how to build immersive experiences.
@@ParkSpill Same, the soundtrack is amazing. I just love how you two show the park and really capture it's magic. It's even better in the winter, they theme the whole park in this amazing winter wonderland. Complete with hot chocolate booths and ice skating parts in it.
You know, Eftelings Fata Morgana has no animatronics whatsoever. Everything that moves, the puppets and so on, are all driven mechanically by this amazing system of gears, wires and cams. This system was designed and build by Efteling which they have a patent on. I couldn't believe it when I heard this and absolutely blew my mind. But they have this since the opening of the ride in the late 80's. Stunning!

Your camera work for the 'in between collages' is stunningly wonderful. It really makes the park stand out to its magic and charm. - Also that Mother Goat in the Fairytale Forest scared the crap out of me as a kid. Since she looked so real.- Efteling is my childhood park. I used to work there for three years in my twenties. They say the Efteling feeling runs in your blood. And you definitely captured it in this vlog.

ParkSpill 100% agree. At the time I worked at Efteling I was stationed at the antique Carroussel Palace, later rotating with Dreamflight, Villa Volta (which was brand new at the time, and still is one of my favorite rides) and Land van Laaf. The park was less commercially organized at that time, and we had so much fun and freedom working there, going around the park after working times. My best memory is walking through the Fairytale Forest before opening times. In the morning mists with no one around this was a truly magical experience. I sure hope you enjoy your next visit and spot some more details and hidden gems. The park is stacked with them.

My favorite themepark ever! Go there every year at least once. This year twice. Also did winter efteling. There is something amazing about it not even Disney can compare with.
One of the stories is the least known I think, when you are in the square with the donkey you can hear trumpets in the background. It's a story of 6 princes who want a wizard to make them magical clock with a bell, but refuse to pay for it. The wizard's servant tries to sell them the clock for less but forgets a part of the bell, the wizard catches them and curses the princes to blow on their trumpets every 15 minutes and his servant to ring the bell. It's on a tape we had when I was very little and I remember listening to it on long car rides. I think it was a tape from the Efteling itself, with all the fairy tales from the forest on it. I imagine you can still buy the audio versions on CD. :)
Oh cool! I love these stories! In the UK we are only aware of the Disney fairytales and the famous Grimm tales. It's been so amazing learning these new ones. I really like the dark aspects to them haha!

O wow. This has to be one of the best intro's of the Efteling I have seen. Great montage, pretty nice shots, good music and in total a great impression of the Efteling. I have spend my childhood at this place, and the first 1.10 min of this video made the magic happen for me again. If you ever go again I would love to guide you to some beautiful places for a shot. I am eager to see how you edit them in a montage.

Great vlog, amazing editing skills! I can see a lot of love goes into your videos! Efteling is my favorite park in the Netherlands. I'm Dutch myself and I think I've been there around 10 times now. Still amazing. My favorite rides are The Flying Dutchman and Vogel Rok. Great to see you love this park!

Whan an awesome video! I've been in the Efteling tens of times, but it's always amazing to relive the magic of the first few visits! Maybe you guys can plan your visit next time during Winter Efteling? Not only can you see the park in the dark (although it's beautifully lit), it's very well winter-themed as well! The fairytales are wearing scarfs and caps and stuff and there's a whole other atmosphere! Greetings from Belgium!

This is such a fantastic video! We visit Efteling every two years and it is in our opinion the best theme park in the world! You have captured its magic perfectly and shown what a special place Efteling truly is. Our Holiday this August was unfortunately cancelled but we were lucky enough to spend Christmas there last year and experienced our first winter Efteling which was spectacular! My husband is half dutch so has been visiting the park since he was a little boy, but Efteling has become our favourite family holiday destination and it's so wonderful when others love it as much as we do! Watching this has left me longing to return and I can't wait till next August! Thankyou 😊🍄

Wow your videos are such great quality! Not only are they really pretty, they also let the viewer really see the rides and the park. I really enjoyed watching them! It's so cool to see your perspective on something I'm so familliar with. I live pretty much next to the park (litterally a 5 minute walk), so I grew up with it and was lucky enough to work there (which was amazing!). If you guys ever go back, and if you ever need a translator or a guide or help with something, I know every inch of the park (Got an annual pass :P) and would really love to help :) Thank you for making these videos, they really make me happy!
