    I shop online with Anything in Stained glass. You have to hunt, but Wissmach seems to be categorized as Luminescent not iridescent. The finish is the same as far as I can tell. And I know they have Oceanside(Spectrum) new iridescent in the warehouse, I haven't seen it in person yet. Their mystery packs are super cool also.

      I'll have the Amazon tomorrow, hopefully lesleysglasshut early next week! Since I only got a very small amount of glass, ill probably put it in with another video, but of coarse ill let you guys know one way or another!

      If it is true luminescent, the finish is slightly different. I find it very beautiful. I believe it may be more noticeably different after fusing.

    I'm new to this craft and your videos are amazing. So in-depth and easy to follow. I live in Canada and am exploring glass vendors - we don't seem to have as many on-line vendors as you do in the US. Keep the videos coming!

    Thanks so much for this video! I've looked at several online stores,, but was never sure if I was getting a good deal or not.The only place near me that has stained glass sheets is Hobby Lobby. They have a somewhat decent selection, but not much as far as unusual glass goes. The next closest place is 6 hours away 😕 Great video, as always!

    Love this, thanks Makenzie. Shout out to the little guys, my local shop here in Glasgow, Scotland will do free delivery on orders over £75 which is probably about $150 or so, which given how many pieces I get for that, that came to 11kg or 24lb. The online system sends me an email that the order is in, and I can follow that up talk them that if, say, the blue is out of stock they can add more yellow, or more solder, or to email me back and we can sort something. The smaller shops here are really struggling with lockdown and as I don't have a car I can't carry 11kg even if I were allowed to use the trains. So yes online shopping looks awesome, but just to say, don't overlook the smaller independent shops near you which sell online, they need our love too. But I really appreciate all your vids and look forward to the unboxing episodes, did you get what you hoped for? To be continued..... ❤️

    • @MakenzieHallie
      @MakenzieHallie  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello! Your so welcome! And Indeed, the smaller in person shops are what I recommend and promote frequently on my channel! However, this video is for the many people that don't have that option at all.(As mentioned i hate online shopping) lol! Im grateful i have my in store shops to go to! And did I get what I wanted? As in glass? Thank you for watching!!

    • @glasgowbeck
      @glasgowbeck 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MakenzieHallie totally agree, and my local shop doesn't have much iridescent so what you've shown shown about how and where to find good supplies online, beyond your local supplier, is super helpful ☺️

    • @MakenzieHallie
      @MakenzieHallie  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh good! Im glad it was helpful, even with accessibility to a local store! Have you ever asked them to get in more iridescent? If your spending 1000$ a trip im sure they would absolutely get some in if you asked! If I didn't ask both of my stores wouldn't be what they are to me! (Although, im not sure what distributors are over there) BUT its absolutely worth asking!!

    I was wondering if you could help me select some colors? doing my first project, a 19 inch circular window, and pattern will be a victorian spiderweb muntin. I am stumped since glass in a window on the third story looks different than up close in a small project.

    It sucks because one of my favorite art glass shops, Northwest Art Glass, has a HUGE selection online, but you have to call your order in. No online shopping. But I will say if you;re ever in the Pacific Northwest, you definitely should make a stop there! They have an awesome wall of discounted glass in a variety of sizes. I’ve picked up some really unusual glass there that I haven’t seen at the other places I buy glass
