I was just barely theorizing why Edgar was so completely unafraid by Homelander & how he would say "as long as I am here he under control".

There's a an extended scene of this in which we actually get to see Outburst come just around the corner, tell Homelander "don't worry we can outburst this" and then outburst all over the place. It's pretty neat.
He was also supposed to appear in Herogasm but apparently his party tricks were way too wild, even for this show, so they chickened out.

@josiahgonzalez942 I find myself cringing at so many different things in The Boys in so many different ways, which is partly why i love it so much and appreciate it as well written satire. But I think that's cause I prefer to actually watch and enjoy my TV instead of going around policing others harmless comments over SLANG words with naturally flexible meanings. Deep down however they know they dont and when someone else that knows more puts them on the spot, they take it as humiliation which is the worst thing to a narcissist and they will do everything to destroy the other one, even if the other one is not aware of their "mistake".

Homelander did nothing wrong he mentioned it was his first time and asked for introductions. She couldn’t follow simple directions. I have seen people fired for less. He even gave her a chance to explain herself. A lot of people hate on homelander have never been in like situations. And a lot of it is projection based off the editing and music. Also the show isn’t the comics.
Yet his face in response isn’t saying that.

Nothing wrong other than going to a board meeting not knowing basic information about the job or the people he’d be meeting with (Ashley’s officially CEO, but he unilaterally decided to run the meeting, which tells you all you need to know). And responding like a petulant child because he felt insecure about not knowing the answer to the woman’s question.
