I'm more hopeful for modders to create such CC than EA making such pack
__ personally I feel like it’s not incompetence at all. There’s already so much to this pack. I’d pay to have some more off the grid showers and toilets and candles and everything else. I feel like island living included enough build&buy items 🤷🏻♀️
mewletter unfortunately I mainly play on the PlayStation so mods aren’t an option for me (I know. Sucks for me who cares lol)
Airy74 this is a terrible excuse for an expansion. it sounds nice but the gameplay is extremely limited and glitchy, and it would just be evil for EA to make us pay $10 for some candles and showers.

I grew up in an island for all my life so this pack is close to heart 🥰 though trust me having no electricity in our weather just won’t work lmaooo

Maybe you could use these glass roof pieces to light up your house a little if it's off the grid! That would make it a lot more bright at least during the day
I love the colour scheme you went for! its looks amazing! I hope by the time the update for the Off the Grid lot trait they will have an option to filter by items that suit for that, so you could choose that and only the specific sink, fridge etc will show

I absolutely love this!! It's really great to know that some of the fridges, stoves and plumbing stuff still work with the Off-the-Grid lot trait!! But yeah I can imagine that lighting would be an issue with only the Base Game and Island Living! But this house is stunning!!
i got back from jamaica recently and i miss it so much. everything keeps reminding me of it then i find this. beautiful house definitely island-ish

yay off grid lot trait (I do wonder maybe if its part of the free patch)! I hope then in the future there might be more added to that sort of thing, either more utilities that can be used, extra activites, maybe even a sim trait, idk but so many people love the off grid stuff, i'd totally grab a pack of that sort of thing.
In any case, I love the color in this build! Turquoise and browns go so well together, and I'm really loving all the new items, seriously they're so well done!
Can u do another off the grid speed build similar to this one? (since it's not going to be on the gallery when the game/pack comes out)

May I suggest adding a fireplace or two to light up the rooms even more? And I don't think normal toilets will work in the off-the-grid trait lot.

Maybe a small double wide trailer. Homeschooling Mom! Father works in the oil field in the Gulf of Mexico. They live in the Bayou if Lousiana with a boat. 😁
This will be perfect for my Midnight Sun legacy! It’d be great if you could try and recreate it once the pack comes out but using stuff from other packs too.

You answered my stove question for off the grid. I thought that one would work though since it looks like ones you would find in old hunting camps where I live. Only thing we are missing now is I think solar panels or rain catch system and we could build full off grid and eco living. I also hope they might lock items like they do for career items or maybe a little icon in the description that looks like the trait so we know.
I believe some of the others work as well, but don’t take my word for it 😊
@@AvelineYT yea sure some one will test them all. Sims VIP might make a cheat list of them possible if they sims team doesnt note what works at first.

I suppose anyone could rebuild this and credit you for it? If you're okay with that! If I want it that badly I'd rebuild it, but keep it off The Gallery and only for personal use. Love the house!! IT's amazing I have a question that really interests me. Is there only tropical weather or winter in the new world? and would the sims then not freeze in the house if it has such open windows? was just such a thought of me I would very much like very much in such a house wanted to pull me but make sure that maybe someone knows ^ ^ Thank you in advance for the quick response

A modder called simista already made solar panel and rainwater tank YEARS ago. It's on her blogspot, but I haven't tried on the off-the-grid lot yet.

How do you slightly turn the objects using the bb.moveobjects cheat? I know how to do everything else but that. Lovely build though! I know I'm going to use that glass flooring a lot!

Hey can someone tell me how to overlap objects and float them. Like she did with the landscaping in the end? Is it a setting I need to have on ? I use PC

The lot trait island spirits is not the ancestors one which will get angry and stuff, these are blue fog that go around your lot, u can communicate with them and what I know they can fill your low needs
Can you do a modern beach house? But put it on the sand strictly?

Love your buildings so much! It inspired me to build a house myself ☺ if it is okay, I'd like to ask something maybe someone can help: I uploaded my house to the gallery and redownloaded it to check if everything was fine. But it had deleted almost every sink, some beds, a bookshelf and some clutter in the kitchen..any idea why? 😟
Remember to activate bb.moveobjects on before placing new lots! 😊

You can't when it's off-the-grid, they don't work ✌
They do when you build without a family. If you don’t believe me, I’ve got a video coming out tomorrow that proves it.
