My wife just bought me theT10 and i love it super quiet does what its suppose to do i would definitely recommend getting one to help pro long the life of amps or receiver's and good video
Unrelated question. I have and love the ac infinity fan by the way good video. My question is subwoofer cables. What do you currently use ?? I have 2 svs pb 1000s and currently using mediabridge sub cables from Amazon which were about 10 bucks. Is the one from svs better?? More expensive but curious if it is actually better.
Twice you refer to the front vents as "front entry", they are not, they are EXHAUST vents where the hot air is exhausted. Could confuse some prospective buyers.
Hi I have a great sounding receiver but the fan of that thing is way too loud. Does the t10 prevent the receiver getting too hot so that the fan of the receiver won’t turn on, or is that not the case? If not, it’s just another set of fans. Thanks, you still like the unit?
I've been holding off purchasing one of these until I do my upgrade even though I have a budget receiver I have splashed out over £1,000 on shielded speaker cables and another £630 on a power conditioner, reason being I hate any kind of unwanted noise! With that in mind, my question to you.... on a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate the noise of this marvelously presented cooling fan!
Just running Atmos speakers? Sounds like something is wrong. I have an Emotiva BASX amp running 2- 2 ohm subs (83.7 db sensitivity) and it doesn't get hot at all, the fans haven't turned on even once.
Consider yourself lucky. I have read several moderator posts who work for Emotiva, and they say this is normal and the way they designed these BasX models.
@@hometheaterhobby9450 Still, it'S only 4 Atmos speakers that'll rarely get 10+ watts. What are you running with the 5th channel? When I researched Emotiva I read the exact opposite where they ran cool. Gonna research more.
Their other products do run cool. The BasX isn’t built the same. My XPA-3 running the front channels dosen't have this issue. But it’s two different technologies.
Because the optimal operating temperature for a power amplifier is 86°. Anything above that will shorten the life of the components. I have these fans on ALL of my amplifiers and receivers.

I didn't know this existed until I read an review in Sound and Vision today that mentioned it! Thank you a great explanation!!!
I have dual T9's in my system and consider these mandatory. An amplifier shouldn't get hotter than 86°.
My friend just a quick comment to help you with the brightness problem. Go on OFF mode and use the arrow down to dim the display. Hope it helps!!!
Thanks!
Fantastic device
i wish these manfactures would give us an option to turn off leds

Great question, I’m actually working on a cable video now and will cover this question there. Look for it in the next two days. Thanks!
@@hometheaterhobby9450 great. Thanks!
If you aren't getting any noise I wouldn't bother.
Does it ever shut completely off? Like if your AVR is off, what is the fan unit doing? Thanks
Yes, the fans turn off. They automatically run as heat increases.

I was about to make the same comment, but thought to read through the other comments to be sure it hadn't already been mentioned.

It can get loud. But I haven't had any problem with overheating.

I think on 1-10; maybe a 2 or 3
@@hometheaterhobby9450 so really no more noisia then my out on display cable box! 🤔
thank you 👍
Did it fix your clicking noise, I Don't recall you saying if it did.
Yes!
Nice video! You can lower the screen brightness...
Thanks for the tip
How to change it °F to °C

What's the difference with the T8 & T9? 🤨
The display I think
@@hometheaterhobby9450 , Noob!
@@B0cc0000 😆 I don't know anything about these outside what's shared in the video. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
@@hometheaterhobby9450 would take you about 30 seconds to do a bit of research, it's very easy to find, and you even spoke about it in your video!!
LOL. Why would you need this?
No clue, please share.

these things are junk...
exactly. just a business doing nothing for your unit than cover its vents. just moving hot air round the room. LOL
Interesting… no issues here. It comes off and on as needed.
Why do you think they are junk?
