I am Die Hard Sox fan for 51 years, and until just now I was wrong about A-Rod, I know about the PED's, not to mention he was on the Yankees, but seeing David and him talk and sharing some of the off field emotions and relationships really shocked me, so much for listening to the media. I am going to show this vid to my friends and start trying to not listen to the media which I am pretty about that now, but not in sports. Thank you for this insight, I really enjoyed it. Hey David, we miss you, and A-Rod, good luck in your future. Miss Manny too.

their baseball IQ is OFF THE CHARTS....that's something the average fan doesn't understand, the best players are mentally on another level than their teammates and rivals...to be a good hitter you have to be sharp up there, and even more you HAVE to have a STRONG mind....as a hitter you fail 7 out of 10 times if you're really good, that's a lot of failure, you also have to get inside the pitchers head to know what's coming, and some pitchers are so good even if you know you can't hit it...so these guys are beyond talented and I don't even want to hear about PED's....ped's don't make you smarter lol

The Phillies v Mets had a lot of bad blood in the 80s..but the best rivalry in Baseball, maybe in american sports is Yankees v Red Sox. Mainly because, even if a player is new to either team, they always seem to grasp the hatred of the other team.

  • @jamesanthony5681

My honest opinion of A-rod as a person during his playing days was that he tried too hard to be liked. That's it. My opinion only. I thought he was a great player who played hard. I didn't like the fact that he left Seattle and then Texas, but then again, I don't begrudge a player who wants to play on a winning team and get the most money he can get. It's a short career. Did he take PED's? Yes, but then again a good number of players did. That does not make it right, however. I believe it was Mike Schmidt who said if he had been playing during the late '90's/early 2000's, he would have done taken them as well.
