In todays video I search for my perfect animal crossing new horizons island. I reset over 300 times to find the perfect island. This is my new acnh island. I reset my animal crossing island.
So glad you found your perfect island! I got mine last June and no regrets! I have no idea how long it took I swear the islands run together. I wanted a yellow airport with cherries, largest peninsula and a certain map. Doing the same kinda rules you are it’s made the game so fun!
I agree, it does seem like the islands run together. I am so excited for this forever island journey. I am glad you also found your perfect island. :) Hunting for a certain map can take so long but it is worth it.
My first island is still my only island, had it since June 2020... Museum's finished, only just got the expansion so now I'm looking to rebuild some villagers' homes. I have 7 permanent residents, one was my first Normal from the original 5 (moved out and back in to get the decent furniture), one was the first expansion plot after moving in my first camper (I didn't go island hopping and tey moved in by themselves, and I will never let them leave!)
I wish I had kept my first island. I think that would have been so cool. I think its neat that you still have yours. Who are your permanent residents? If you don't mind me asking. :p Also thank you so much for commenting. I really appreciate it. :D
I have this map! It took me 603 restarts to get the map with a blue airport and the airport had to be lined up perfectly with resident services. It's my forever island and I love it 🥰
So glad you found your forever island. :D I thought about adding the requirement to have it lined up perfectly but I realized I did not actually have a strong preference. If I had added that requirement I may have had to restart closer to 600 times as well. You are more patient than me. I am so glad you found it. The map layout is my favorite. I did a 30 day challenge island, in which I would decorate my whole in 30 days. This was my 7th island, and I decided it was my forever island. I was tired of reseting. The idea of doing another island over again was too stressful. This island is by far my favorite. I have villagers that I love and I get to finally collect all the bugs and fish.

@@shpeepy_crossing Pears are my native fruit. I have Teddy, Shep, Gaston, Sasha, Tiansheng, Quinn, Purrl, Lolly, Savannah, and Rosie. I have a green airport. It did take me about 20 times to get pears as my fruit. All th islands before had cherries and I was not settling. Also, I love your island name, and villagers.
@@annabeezus Pears are one of my favorites for native fruit! :D I get oranges a lot which aren't bad, just not my favorite. GASTON is my FAVORITE CRANKY :D :D oh my goodness, he is the best cranky. I had him on my island Musa. I also had Purrl on Musa. :) She is so cute too. Really, all of your villagers are cute lol. You have good ones.
@@shpeepy_crossing Gaston was an autofil and I fell in love so quickly. He is now my favorite cranky. I can't imagine my island without him. Also, I saw in another video you have Bella! I love her, Bella and Merry have a tie for best peppy in my heart. I can't wait to see what theme you pick for your island. Also, thanks for replying. 😊

I've been wanting to do a restart and and look for my "perfect island" and I was feeling bad for being picky about criteria for it but you've inspired me to just restart till you get what you want.. even if you gotta cry a little bit through the process lol. Nice job finding your island!!

@@shpeepy_crossing No problem, I loved the video, it’s a process finding what you want 🥳. For me it’s an island with a big peninsula, orange or green airport, and I would really really love if the airport and resident services line up evenly. Peaches aren’t a requirement for the island fruit but it’d be bonus points if it happens to be :^) probably going to join you in the over 300 resets process 😂

Sister fruit: coconuts
Starters: Flo, lyman
Is resident services a building yet? No.
Is the museum here? Yes.
Did you build Nook’s cranny? Yes. Today.
Did you set up 3 housing plots and gotten the recipes? Yes.
Airport color: orange.
Roof colour (mine) : red
Flo’s roof color: purple
Lyman’s roof color: black
Do I like my island? Yes!
Lyman is so underrated! He is sooo cute :) Flo is also really cute. Those are some really good villagers. Also red is a good roof color. Currently mine is pink. :) Do you know whos moving into the three plots yet? Thank you for commenting. :) I really appreciate it.

my first island is actually my forever island :3 I resetted a few times and my og map actually looked really similar to the one you wanted! Only after a while i realized how lucky i was - cause i got the blue airport (I LOVE THE BLUE ONE), double south beaches, peaches as a native fruit etc. I also started with audie (i still have her after 2 years lmao) and i now have all of my fav villagers :D I also picked one with the heart pond on the top and cause i though it was so cute 😭Over 800 hours invested and im still not done! But i also kinda dont want it to end anyway >-
Sometimes I wish I had kept my og map. Oh well. I'm very glad I found the island I did. Its so cool that you still have your og map. Who were your starters? If you dont mind me asking. My og starters were Mac and Rocket. The heart ponds are so cute! I also really like double south beaches. More patience than me. I thought I was with about 200 restarts. You're more piticular 🤣 I just started a forever island as well. No plans for anything currently.

I’ve restarted 20 times with half completed islands. Finally found my dream map it took 10 attempts to get it & completed my museum for the 1st time. Happy I got peaches as my native fruit. Finally got a orange airport usually get blue or green.

I know feeling of finding your forever island. I had reset my game at least 20 times since launch because none of my islands felt like they were forever. It took me 2 days to find my forever island. The only things I wanted were apples and an orange airport. Everything else did not matter to me. Persistence definitely pays off. Never settle for a random island if it doesn't meet your criteria because you will not be happy with it later on.

I’m watching or rewatching in 2024 and this makes me want to reset one of my islands to find the perfect island which idk what that looks like but I’ll know it when I find it

Is Me Crafting absolutely anything , but also making my own designs as well.
But I’m really hoping that i could jus give my designs away to all of my island visitors , but sadly about that I really don’t have any of them.
But I’m really wishing very hard to get them , but while I’m waiting for that I’m jus gonna be making ever a lot of designs to give to them all , but also making ever a lot of pro designs as well so i can give those as well.
But also the stuff that i make from my workbench , but as soon as i do make my own workbench that is.
Cuz um I honestly haven’t made that yet.
But since that I’m an artist and a builder , but I’ve got ever a whole lot of stuff to work on.
But i do go into this game , but once i do have ever a lot of inspirations to work on.

Cuz that way you can befriend me first from in game first , but I’ll accept your request right away.

But if it was me i so would accept the friend codes from other people that I don’t know , cuz that way I’m a lot more opened to accepting their friend codes.
But if your not opened to accepting that , then that’s fine but your gonna be missing out on a lot of connections.
But those who are a lot more on accepting the friend codes of others , then those people will be the only ones who’s gonna be standing out of the crowds a lot more than others , who jus goes without accepting the friend codes of other players.
But i jus wish those who don’t accept the friend codes from other players , but i jus wish them to be with those other players.
But i do understand that you have your own preferences and that’s good for you , but I’m jus only saying about something that really would be for a huge thing.

I did about 400 resets to find my island, the one thing that held me back was finding a big peninsula and short pier (on the same side) with the layout that was otherwise something I had nothing to complain about. And then a blue airport and peaches, with none of the sliced rocks on the river mouths. It was torture, but worth it in the end. 😅🎉
I've only had animal crossing since christmas and this recent reset was my third. It's my forever island and I got the same island bc I was rerolling forever and I loved the heart pond
i feel like you were judging too hard on the villagers aspect as both starting villagers can and should move out because their houses are so basic some what the same with the houses you build only after that do the villager houses have fully furnished interiors
I can understand your point of view. I am super sentimental so despite the starter homes being basic its hard for me to let go of the starter villagers. Hence why I wanted to like them. :D However, I can see where you are coming from. Different people prefer different things and that's ok. :D

how are you able to have 2 islands though??
I have a switch and my husband has a switch. He does not play animal crossing so he lets me use his switch to have another island. I wish the next game would allow for more islands per switch. Thank you for commenting. :) I really appreciate it. :D

That is the ACNH island transfer tool. It allows someone to transfer an island from one switch to another. :) Thank you for your comment. :)

Thank you. :) Most of it was not intentional. However, I did intentionally try to talk more quietly into the microphone. On another video I had posted someone said I should stop yelling so I thought that I was too loud into the microphone. Therefore, I tried to talk more quietly into the microphone. :D Oh well.

Idk how often I reseted but I started my forever island maybe 4 months ago and it took me half a day :) my criterias where:
- river mouths left ot right but preferred on the right
- a loooot of different stones on the beaches
- decent peninsula, not close to the upper stones
- resident services a bit further from the airport, doesn't matter if it's aligned or not
- orange airport!!!
- something different than pears and oranges (my past islands fruits)
I got all of them except for the apples 😂 but the island was PERFECT in every other way and who cares what type of fruit is in your passport? :D I took it and didn't regret 😊
The peninsula not close to the upper stones and lots of different stones are awesome criteria. :) What villagers did you get?

I feel bad for you having to reset over 300 time 😭. I reset 56 times for ONLY my fave villager and the best I got was pashmina and stinky.I wanted a blue or white airport cosmos kidcat and pashmina. A cottage core place named mellow bay .it has martyyyyyyyy yay . I shred the dream but nv got WHATT I needed. I nev got cottage ore. Or five stars wa. I shared the dream plz go visit. My name was starly from Pokémon. I reset today .I love ur videos . My friend was asking what age you were cuz of ur voice I'm sorry and don't wanna be mean. You don't have to reply honestly. I will just show your fake age 😂. Write something like 2 plz. It will be funney for her thank you.
