Way too fancy and pretentious for burgers if you ask me. The last local burger joint I tried is WHAM Burger in MOA (close na pala branch nila doon), their burgers are good and their price range are reasonable, though the only gripe I can say is that they dont have set meal, everything is ala carte

I think this is an opinion based review. Of course di niya mapupuntahan lahat ng burger joints in a day lets be realistic. Kung gusto mo, gawa ka rin ng review at mag effort ka hindi yung aatake ka agad purkit biased ka din sa sinabi mo. Lets not pull each other down my friend.

But then again you are right, there are small players but hidden gems within manila that offers fancy burgers but in a reasonable price, it will satisfy your cravings and you wont feel you\ve been had. I would like to see burgers in other types of buns other than brioche
Yep, thats why its helpful if you canvas burger joints from reviews before going ham on it, because its not something you wanna eat twice in a week or so.
These kinds of foods are not for everyday consumption, hence the price. Its worth it because of the quality of the food itself and once you try foods that are in the 200-1000 peso range, your palette will crave for these kinds of food. I was once like you where me? spending 250 on a burger while i can spend 50 pesos on angels? but once i tried these gourmet burgers, it changed my pespective. It wont harm to try ^_^
This kind of foods with these price are for self indulgence, its a seperate matter of spending a thousand peso for others. Thats called charity. Im not saying dont do charity but once in a while, a person craves for foods or items that can give your senses a new level of satisfaction :)

They have a target market, and besides, its not that you will eat burgers everyday. I am a simple middle class person but a fancy burger worth more than 200 pesos is already considered excessively expensive for me. But on the other hand, in order for yourself to grow and appreciate things around you, you have to "invest" and come out of your comfort zone and test more expensive items, doing so will improve your tolerance and judgement towards food you will encounter.. I used to settle with Goldilocks for a long time, then I tried cakes from Contis then 900 pesos worth of in house cakes from restos, I wont eat cakes everyday but by doing so I develop a gauge that I can compare the taste and quality of each other.
