This match was bonkers in every sense of the word. The deepest of mindgames, surprise picks and tech, and insane back and forth down to the wire gameplay

The way the crowd reacted at 10:44 to her stealing a full healing the way they'd react to a full combo was so cool. I miss this game's glory days.
Easily perhaps the best time in Street Fighter's entire history. Online play across the globe and a solid fighter to boot! Greatest time to be a Street Fighter fan
I've only been watching competitive SF at a high level for a little over a year now, but after ingesting an unhealthy amount of USF4 tournament footage in that time, this is no doubt the greatest loser's final set I have ever seen. Good christ, the mind games.

Straight up challenged the mental fortitude of both players, and they both delivered.
4:30 scramble situation and excellent combo. 8:30 Gamerbee steals the match. 10:35 Gamerbee's Elena fully heals. 13:43 Incredible Gamerbee Elena comeback. 15:00 Elena leads BIGLY. 20:03 The Juri Counter Pick & Audience Pop! 22:57 Juri's Feng Shue Engine decimates Elena's health bar. 24:01 Infiltration's Juri takes it back to match point.
Almost perfect play. I know how many people hate Elena's healing, but this was still some really amazing gameplay from both players. Wow.
This EVO was the highest level of USF4 play in the games lifespan

This match was one of the pinnacles of SF4. Definitely not my favorite game in the series but it produced some amazing competition and matches.

@@spawnreloaded4423 Spamming ranged attacks to keep the other person at a distance was what started it and Gamerbee adapted. Elena has many drawbacks so she can have healing and Gamerbee worked around them.
Infiltration forced him into either playing defensively or exhausting himself mentally by having to react to fireballs while continuously advancing forward. Infiltration with Chun Li was at an advantage at close range but Gamerbees offense is fantastic so it would've still been a big risk for him. You need to consider both perspectives as well as the meta game of draining his opponents mental energy.

@@fenderjazzface999 Exactly. Gamerbee lost to Infiltrations' fireball spam during Semi-Finals Pool and that's just his answer to Infiltrations' strat.
The fact that AiAi took a bow for Infiltration after the game goes to show what a fantastic match this was. One of the best top 8's in Street Fighter history.

22:59 to 23:11 is the stuff of legend. Juri fighting Elena at such extreme disadvantage there is truly David vs. Goliath.
It was Infiltration that sent GamerBee to losers with Chin-li. GamerBee simply adapted plain and simple
TekEvolution Yes. Seems like everyone forgets this when they whine about how Gamerbee played in loser's finals. Gamerbee should be praised for finding a way to flip the script. It was on Infiltration to find a way around it, and he did, but it was a little too late as Gamerbee responded with Adon. Amazing match.

I think Infiltration would have won the round at 13:40 if he had done his ultra so that it landed all of the hits. Did it a bit too early.
My GOD! Elena was so busted in USF4. Here's hoping she won't be this broken in SF6.

now my Elena wears Chun Li s Alpha outfit with 10 colors to choose from ! PC version only !!! PC is the best ! of course i have many other costumes like Michael Jackson Smooth Criminal suit for Akuma or SF6 Ryu outfit for Ryu or Classy Ken or Sporty and casual Sakura outfits etc... my USF4 looks and feels like a fresh new experience from the intro to the select screen music and announcer etc... !
