Amazing game and I think part of why it was so hyped is because of how close the audience is to the players. In recent EVOs the distance between the two grew further and I think the event should go back to its roots and let the audience gets closer again.

@@popmagoot227 SF6 is better than SF5, but still not as good as SF4. The Drive mechanics have way too much priority, and they don't allow footsies and neutral to really shine. SF4 handled it better: it had really cool mechanics but you had to use them wisely.

@@kingchickenwing4887 The Xbox home menu only comes up if you press the home button (which we assume he didn't) or the stick disconnects (which will happen in a later match)

16:30 oh...Infiltration was going for ex command grab after the 2nd hit of rekka, but dropped the input. Can see him spamming half circle back + mp+hp in frustration after he lost that round. That dropped input lost him a guaranteed 2nd place.
Or maybe he just chose to block and wait after the 2nd hit, but mashed ex command grab during Elena's pressure at 16:27, both of which would've worked had the input not drop.

He actually got double elena-ed. Gamerbee beat him mainly with Elena too.

One of the greatest Street Fighter sets in history? I don't know if that set was that amazing, but it was definitely one of the greatest Ultra Street Fighter IV sets in history imo...
Of course, maybe I am just a sucker for Abel mindgames and Infiltration's style. I mean, since when does Infiltration use Abel proficiently at a tournament level. XD

完全インフィルの流れだったけどなぁ。。。エレナは逆択で結構勝ってたね。序盤のエレナ無敵ぱなしが多くて、インフィルが起き攻めガードを増やした所に、エレナの小技暴れからの固めで持っていかれた印象。
Some of the best matches ever played, not a big fan of SF5 I think 4 is the best.

MrsRandomMadeMeDoIt He needed 2 bars of ex to FADC into cr. fierce to juggle into ultra. Honestly he should have just finished the cod but he wanted to keep Momo in the corner :(

Actually Infiltration didn't want to keep Momochi on the Corner. Infiltration simply made a mistake on the inputs. You can clearly see that after Momochi wins the round and Infiltration kept on mashing qcf+punches to get himself to complete the combo.
There is also no reason to keep Momochi on the corner since the combo is barely scaled as well as Infiltration since abel can dash up and use his remaining 1 bar to wheel kick and nullify the healing if he completed the change of direction combo resulting in Momochi barely having any life left. He can also use the 1 bar to counter elena's ex mallet smash since he can eat the chip damage and go for the command throw.
There are a couple of mistakes here in the video as well. 14:18 was not level 3 focus. 15:55 was due to Abel's slow command grab startup and many more. So this one is not different.
+iownedyou15 Its pretty much impossible to miss the inputs on Abel's CoD. Also top level street fighter players know the value of corner pressure by throwing momo out of the corner he gives her so much room to move back which is something you don't typically want to do especially if you only have a little bit of life to get rid of.
I'm gonna take a guess and say that infil was mashing qcf punches for an ex CoD at the end of the round, which he missed, which is why he got counter hit by low jab.

imo infiltration didnt wnat to keep him in the corner (why do that whike momochi has so little life to spare), i think he wanted a reset into the ex command throw so he will get the win but maybe he did it early and it didn't come out.
No, they said infiltration WANTS to keep momochi in the corner which is why he didn't finish the combo as it would not have killed Elena and would also throw Elena to the other side outside of the corner.
