That "Something loose" sound that you were hearing was the toolkit in the left pocket of the fairing. The have no insulation between the tools, so you'll hear them clanging together even on smaller bumps. I think they need to add bubble wrap to the liner for those, especially for reviewers.. UGH
I think the Challenger is the best bike that Indian make and they make some good bikes. A stock Challenger is better than a stock Road Glide. It just is.
Cool bro! You’re in a motorcycle club I see. I never understood how you know what lane to ride in being that you have someone else sharing the same lane.
I've had my Indian Chieftain for 2 years. I'm so disappointed with the sub-par quality of the bike overall. I've had more quality issues than any bike should ever have. Paint had drips in it from the factory that started bubbling/peeling. Thats probably biggest issue for me. The rear fender was replaced under warranty for paint defects. The tips on Indian stage 1 exhaust also had paint bubble issues and Indian couldn't replace them bc they were discontinued so I got shafted on that. The primary cover had to be replaced under warranty for paint bubbles too. Kickstand had to be replaced due to a slight bend and the bike was leaning too much. Today I found broken tabs on the side covers that I believe the dealer broke during the fender replacement and glued back in place and didn't tell me about it. And now I'm finding more paint defects in the front fender - one month out of my warranty. I've never had this many issues with all my previous bikes combined.
I watched a video not to long ago was a Chieftain review and he also had issues with the paint on the rear fender. Kind of crazy to hear it made it through a quality check with paint issues.
Can you tell me the difference in the feel of the ride between the two? I will be test driving them both soon but I want to hear what other people have to say. I hear the the chieftain has a lower center of weight. That means a lot to me. I also like the layout of the screen and gauges compared to the Challenger.
@ My challenger had issues. Spent way too much time in the shop. I had to do a lateral trade with Indian or lose my shirt. I like the Chieftain better. It fits me.
@@WW-mf9ss The Challenger handles like a much smaller bike and I really liked the engine. The way the power comes on will put a smile on your face. Challenger feels like you’re sitting on top of it instead of in it. Chieftain felt like fairing needed to be up a little higher got a lot of air on me during highway speeds. If it was me I’d buy the Challenger all day long.
Sweet video
Great review, cheers. 🤘

Traded my 21 Challenger for a new Chieftain.
