  • You don't need to spend big $$$ or have high HP to have a bit of fun. I did just that on this trip with stock bike and just10 HP on tap!

Absolutely. that little bike in stock form handled it pretty good. one would have to know that 4wd track to know how steep it really is.
like going down it would be quite easy to throw you over the handlebars as its that steep. especially near the end where the gopro went flat. that was a horror stretch there..lol

About 5 years ago i toured Spain ( from Northern Ireland ) on one of those CB125f. It was great crack over the 3000 odd miles that i clocked up. You see so much more of the country. Yes if you want to you can tour on anything. Would do the same again , no problem. Get well soon. Mo.

thanks. it's a good budget priced bike which is pretty enjoyable to ride. too right...no real hurry on one of these and one gets to see far more of the countryside rather than a quick flash.

  • @andrewgreen6060
    @andrewgreen6060 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

Great clip. Reckon those Motoz tyres of yours might have helped if they come in a size to fit the 125. Always wondered why the 125 wasn't a keeper for you for the rough country. So another one is on the cards, eh? Your Suzuki would be up around 200kgs now you fitted all the bling - hate to drop it, even with the winch bizzo handy. I see below you sold the Vespa - sigh! Next time, try a 150 aircooled Vespa for less maintenance, lighter and still plenty zippy and good looks. Maybe the Nmax will do - it's a bit cheaper.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  15 วันที่ผ่านมา

only issue i had with the 125 is the area i wanted to run it was a fair distance to get there. the gb350 handles that side good but again i wouldnt rule out another 125
my suzuki it totally fitted out now and looks a lot more adventure style bike. i have not ridden it since the add ons and i think it still has only 130 klm on the clock but i hope to change that soon
heres how i scored the nmax.
2 weeks or so back the vespa was cashed. great bike no issues and best scooter ive owned.
i was ready to transfer the money over on a new zero electric bike. i watched a few clips amd was impressed with it 0 to 100 kph in under 5 second and 80 ft/lbs of torque. the more clips i watched the better it sounded until i watch a few where the riders had actually lost control and been dumped on their a$$.
too much power and no traction control to handle it. naturally winter here and frosty conditions and in the end i thought ...if i buy this bike it could be my last ride...lol
so i pulled out. ordered the watch/camera and then rang the yamaha dealer. he had this nmax in stock so i took it
overall i think for safety side alone i did the right thing but if it had been october/nov and good weather...id bought the zero as it was on special for $13200 ride away or roughly.
the price of a poor mans watch...lol
swinging back to the nmax i'd say if i dropped it on the tracks i could easily laugh that off as its only $6000 -that happened to the honda forza and it was $10k BUT a $13500 vespa hitting the ground and being all metal body apart from the plastic front guard -i'd say its gonna be expensive...lol plus its just too good a ride to trash.
i mean i got some stick in the comments when i put those old mudguards and tank on my new red/chrome 350...lol they just dont like it. so it appears i always have problems or issues when it comes to rides...lol
durng my 3 week break ive even had some smart a$$es leave comments like.... ive heard you had to sell your bikes.
unfortunately its not the case i still have all 5 rides but none would generate any real value as they are not expensive rides,
but on the tube there are those who look and those who wish...lol
      all the best!

I hope you’re on your feet again real soon. BTW the videos you put out on this bike was the inspiration to me finally picking my own 125f up just 2 days ago. Would have made the purchase sooner, but life got in the way. It’s only got 7kms on the clock as yet; went to Sydney only hours after picking it up. Looking forward to many adventures on similar roads (dirt) that you ride.
Thanks for the inspiration and may you get back to what you love real soon.👍

thanks. you and i are sort of in the same boat -that is bike wise. 2 weeks ago i bought a new 2024 nmax 155 -dealer delivered it and because of this respiratory virus i picked up-thanks to the wife...lol it still sits there never ridden.
i think you'll be happy with the 125f - it will do anything you want within reason. this clip alone is on outright 4wd track and it handled it totally stock.
sure i have a few rides but when it comes to the crunch one doesnt have to spend big to enjoy the ride

@@ridewithwarro it’ll be good to follow your journey on the Nmax. One of the other rides that was pulling at my heart strings, is the PCX. Sadly for no explainable reason they are now only selling it with a 125 engine, instead of the 160. Given that Yamaha is still selling the 150, I can’t follow the logic. I see you had the PCX, but noted that it was a good wind catcher (side wind). It’ll be interesting to hear you likes about the Nmax; will be interested in how the suspension stacks up against the PCX. For me, it was mostly about the beautiful lines that graces the PCX that puts it in front of the Nmax.
As far as respiratory ailments goes, I hear you. Been suffering from what I think is long COVID for the last 2 years. It’s been holding me back a lot from my cycling and running. Finally been able to shift it somewhat through using probiotics. Starting to be able to run over the last few weeks without fatiguing and getting out of breath easily. (Still get breathless if I’m not careful.)Have started training to celebrate my 60th in August by attempting my first marathon. Just hope the hips and cope.😉 Enjoy you adventures on the Nmax.

@@michaelevans7260 my issues are each time i go outside which i do to feed the birds so have no choice about a minute or so and the coughing and chest tightness starts and carries on for quite a while so i would have to be pretty stupid to get on and ride a bike unless i only want to go on one last ride...lol
so choice isnt good so i will wait it out.
yeah i had the new pcx160 and it was pretty nice and compact to look at too. but struggled in the wind just like me...lol
ive watched youtube clips and the nmax is quicker to 100 kph than the pcx
id really like to try the nmax on dirt. well thats the plan later on.
i sold the vespa as i really couldnt do much with it. great scooter but too much looking after. had to worry about scratches/no dirt roads/if a problem comes along/long way from dealer 500 klm
so i thought stuff it-sell it and order another rolex buy a nmax and while at it order another camera...lol so there goes $20k...lol
speaking of running a few year back when one could climb uluru i walked up to that area called chicken rock and thought no need to go much further as id climb it in 1980 and actually ran down the rock from top to bottom but i was only 28...lol so i just turned back and did a run to the bottom. got that on gopro
lucky no-one can climb it now as the only way i could beat that is try an over the edge run...lol

so i plan to do what the dr said-wait it out and dont do anything silly so i might try that.
