My sweet cat was very concerned when she heard him yelling. She always runs and wants to comfort anyone if they're in distress. She's be very busy with your sweet boy. 😁He's such a cutie. ❤️
Hes very sweet. My cat was deaf, instead of looking for me in the house, she would go to the central point and just shout loudly for me to come. She died recently, i really miss her.
So very sorry for your loss. Can't even imagine what this must be like for you. Couldn't even contemplate life without my doggo. Hope you get a new cat when you feel ready, in honour of her. ❤
@@carlmullerlane thank you Carl. Life will carry on and one day another furry friend will need rescuing and patching up and I'll be there. Enjoy every moment with your doggo! x
Everything you described about this bundle of loveliness is pure Siberian Husky. Doesn't respond to doorbell, talks/screams as if in a horror movie, must be involved in every conversation, full of energy, "way louder than he thinks he is" etc. This behaviour is nothing to do with being deaf, just to being a Husky 😊
@@s.c.7362Yes, captain obvious, I think he/she is aware. 😂 The comment is about the dog behaving like a typical husky regardless his disability. Meaning he would act like this even if he could hear. It’s supposed to be a wholesome comment…
Hear hear. This is the ultimate act of cruelty based own their own arrogant opinion that they think their dog is anxious? WTF! Americans are screwed up on pills and want their pets to be too. I'm proud to not be an american. They were the ones who brought in family therapists in the 1970s. they're truly crap culture.@@dguarino1974
I scream when I see huskies too. But it's because I love them 😄. You guys are great. Thanks for giving Mordecai (and your special needs kitties) a loving home.
Maybe their dog wants to be with them too, not held in solitary confinement by arrogant owners who puts their dogs on drugs based on arrogant misguided perceptions of their own dogs' behaviour.
My dog is a husky mix. And every time we tell him he’s a German Shepherd, he just gives us a blank stare. But when we tell him he’s a husky, he tilts his head and lets out the loudest bark. It’s the funniest thing ever.
Kindness is a weakness to the indecent but virtuous to the decent. We are proud to have you on our world. Bravo. You are among our most decent. Thank you.
I’m so glad he’s with people who deserve him now! What an absolutely adorable little weirdo. 💜💜💜💜💜 Also, signing with any dog is a great idea. Just like people, many dogs lose some degree of hearing as they age. If you’re lucky enough to have the privilege of living with a vintage puppy, you’ll be rewarded (in so many wonderful ways!) for establishing that form of communication.
Hey he is so precious and smart.he wants to make sure you are with him I think he is afraid you will take him back.but you two are angels to take animals with disabilities they are the ones with more love.i hope you both and your fur baby have many years of happiness together.and your cats too.❤🎉❤
My senior dog was deaf her last couple years and it was kinda cool not having to deal with her paramoia around fireworks and minimal noises outside the front door.
He looks just like my pure white huskie! His temperment is huskie too! He is very sweet and lucky to have such a wonderful family, you are the perfect match for each other. ❤
Deaf dogs are just as wonderful as any other dog. He's beautiful and he's definitely a husky... maybe thats why he reacts when he sees them. My brother had a deaf dog growing up, she was an albino boxer named Ice. We taught her everything with hand commands and would stomp so she would know we were close and not get frightened. She was beautiful 😍 I hope more people adopt animals who are different, they're so loving and worth it
I have three huskies that are rescues and my white husky also sounds like he’s being hurt when he screams of excitement especially on his walks because he loves other animals and people so much. It was kind of awkward at first because I didn’t want people to think he was hurt but most just laugh when he does it. I’ve had huskies almost my whole life and they are my favourite breed. They are crazy fun with personalities like no other. They completely have my heart. ❤ Rescuing is lots of work, patience, time, and the reward is so worth it once they realize they are safe and so very loved. ❤
I had a rescue Pekingese. Months after we had him, he finally barked! Such a deep bark - you would think he was a German Shepherd! They finally speak when they feel safe!
Very often (not always), it seems pale blue eyes are genetically assoc. w/congenital deafness. If there's one blue eye, it's possible to be deaf on that side as well. Same deal for cats. Good to keep this in mind if you're at a shelter--you can test if the dog or cat responds to sound on either side. 🐶
my dog is 16 and deaf and it has been a great thing for her. She was really anxious her first 14 years of life, the deafness made her the happiest she has ever been. It honestly is not been an issue, but I do always worried about her getting off leash and calling her back..

cool story bro but like who asked?

Are you sure he’s not part husky himself? Maybe he recognizes his tribe. Just a thought. Thank you for the rescue and share! He’s adorable!
🐾♥️🐾
This was my thought too. He looks like he could be, and his howls sound like a husky's. Sweet dog!
Thats what I was thinking too, he looks like he's a bit huskie mix
He does have that kind of look about him.
I have and have had a lot of huskies and husky mixes. That boy is a husky mix!
Definitely. he looks like my boy.

I have 2 huskies, and it def seems like normal husky screaming haha! He looks like a good boy.
Him being carried across the water and His little feet paddling, is Adorable.

Huskies become VERY vocal around other huskies. And judging by your dogs eyes, he might just be getting excited when he sees a cousin.
Just one word: Adorable. And if I'm coming back as a dog, I'm putting myself on a wait list for getting YOU as my dog parents. 😍
Yes!!! ❤
It will be a long list!!!

What a funny little doggo. He's going to bring more joy and love than you ever thought possible.
What a fantastic looking baby

~ Absolutely. Unfortunately, there's no shortage of people who do mistake kindness for weakness...
Great comment. *Bravo!*
This is so adorable. 🙂 Thank you for giving Mordecai a real home.
What an amazing set of owners. Absolute saints with an adorable dog.
We had a wonderful dog who lost her hearing but for a while she could hear clapping -( to come) , & she could understand some signs & gestures.
Im so happy that, now he's got wonderful parents and 2 cats sibling! Happy New year to all your family!!
Her: "He's a deaf dog"
Him: *runs into sliding door*
😂That goofy Husky side jumped right out

He is a great dog and it is so wonderful that you adopted him to your little family.❤❤❤
What a sweet boy so deserving of love. Bless you all for taking good care of him and showing him the love he deserves!

Don’t tell them how to take care of their dog! It’s their dog and you’re no expert so, shut it!
You aren't a veterinarian. And you're definitely not THIS dog's vet. Just stop it.
