He just looked incredibly sad. He look like he was just gonna cry all the time. I am so thrilled that he has a family that loves him and he feels free and safe and complain and he’s not getting beat up or starving. Thank you for everybody for taking such good care of him and giving him the life that he’s so deserves. Every animal deserves to have a good life and feel safe and warm and be fed and loved.

It makes me so sad that he was bullied. When this happens to people, we can tell someone and get help. This poor boy had no one. 😔. He must have felt so sad and hopeless. Now he has a family that loves him. He gets massages, has toys, can sleep peacefully, knows that he is loved.

Shrek has a look of someone who has stories to tell. It warms my heart that he was adopted by such a caring family. It couldn't have happened if the rescue hadn't brought him but those are only two of his tales to tell. He is so obviously happy.

My wife ( girlfriend ) at the time had a cat named Sunny that looked just like Shrek, he had those big cheeks as well and he was so patient calm and has a although big had a very soft Meow, verybeautifu big orange boy that was a rescue she adopted from the shelter, one day he disappeared from the a 4th floor apartment complex because of some evil neighbors finding him and kicking him out... I'll never forget how she cried for him and the fact that he has big cheeks and big strong scared body meant that he never had a chat nor a break, it was really really sad... RIP Sunny and Beautiful big boy Shrek

So happy for this big sweet boy! I would note that when cats show love and loyalty, they're not being "just like dogs"! They're simply being cats with loving, loyal personalities. The notion that cats are all fickle, independent and aloof needs to be put to rest once and for all. They're also not "assholes'. Cats are multifaceted sentient beings that share amazing love stories with those humans that understand them.
