The best video on sages! I’m a newbie gardener and learned so much… you are an awesome educator. New to my garden this year you’ve helped me think about how I can take good care of this plant! Thank you!
hi, what is the exact variety name of the short, dark blue sages in the lower right corner? It appears to have lilies about to flower growing in front and behind it. Thanks.
I noticed there is some stunning speedwell (veronica) mixed in with the salvia that she didn't talk about. I don't know what variety though. Maybe google the Proven Winners website (they have a deep purple variety).
The general rule of thumb is 1" if water 1x per week. They need a good soaking each week whether from rain or from supplemental watering. In hot, dry climates they might need more frequent watering but in cooler climates where the soil stays moist they might not need to be watered as often. Make sure they are in an area with well-draining soil so they aren't sitting in water.
Sage got pretty flowers and I keep on dividing it up and getting free plants from it.
Thank you for your knowledge and in depth information on salvia! Enjoyed your video! Have a great day!

I just potted three Salvia here in Arizona how often should I water
I dont think when people say full sun they are saying full Florida sun.so many "full sun" plants need shade here
How much water to add and how often on any of the salvia plants?
