Received my first Rough Ryder knife, and the bow canoe roughly ten minutes ago! Took a chance because of your well informed review and have to say…I received a very clean handsome knife at a great price. Love the feel and the heft. You feel your holding a knife….but I’m old school…carrying knives for over 65+ years.
    Thanks for your videos.

I like a good lock-up and the blades have a nice belly, i'm very attrackted to this one. I'm glad that the black on the bone isn't coming off, it looks awesome. Your hand is being forced a bit into an angle with that bow, but i don't think that would be an issue. Thank you for showing TK.

Yes thanks for having a look, not my favorite knife in the world to use but the blades are very nice.

Thank you TK, I've got the bone stag whittler classic carbon2. And it has proud pins, no gapping on the back. And also case has some suede snap top medium you can wear on your belt or slip.they are very lightweight but nice suede with a snap 10 to $13. I've got them on a lot of my knives! Just throw them right in your pocket! And about the pull on this whittler in the same style on the main blade it's double sprained and it is an eight Maybe .very hard. It would be very hard to close on your hand. But I digress I think case has some pretty cheap knife sheaths that can double as a slip. Very comfortable in the pocket. Thank you TK for the video I may just go buy that one . I will say the pins on this one will have to be filed down cuz mine all of them did! Also I put too much mustard on mine for too long and it's got black blades but I still love it! Thank you for the video TK. My wife tells me that the case snap sheaths, are rough leather not suede. She's probably right but it's what I call suede! I think you'll like them!

This was the first bow canoe I've ever seen, and I think it's a neat looking pattern. Considering the ergonomics, I don't know how practical it would be, but it sure looks cool. Cheers, buddy!

I too was very skeptical about this pattern. Very different and unique but it doesn’t tickle my fancy. Not a big fan of canoes in general so I could be bias. Thank you for giving the community a look at this new pattern TK 👍

That long pull is a nice surprise. I like this one, but that curve somehow seems comical. It’s a little bit Gumby. Don’t know if I’ll go after it - I’m all excited for the half hawk, though. Still, beautiful covers, plain bolsters. Nice. Thanks for the closeup!

So I have to say the organelle makes of this look great when it comes to cutting towards you. Especially if you’re feeling, and Ample are doing some slicing or cutting in boxes. But if you’re cutting away from yourself, I’m not sure how ergonomically this knife is. But I am still considering getting one. I hope you have a wonderful day and thank you again for a great video. I’m trying to catch up on all of yours.

@@ThriftyKaniffy I ended up picking it up. Primarily because it just looks fantastic. It’s a gorgeous looking nice and I actually think it can be remedied in regards to the ergonomics by pinching the sides of the Knife and using the Small Pet Blade as a package, opening knife, and then the larger night for all of your major jobs.

Thanks...Good to know the black is not rubbing off. I watched your Live review of of the Classic Cinnamon Stag last night and was prepared to use Krylon. Are you getting any blade rub? It was my intention to get the one with the Wharncliffe blade but they were out of stock. The video I watched was experiencing blade rub on the main blade.

    • @ThriftyKaniffy
