Good review. Regarding the pricing though, are those other brands (Ford, Hilux, VW) offering the same features with this top-of-the-range P-500, including the warranty and service plans? I am certain the answer is a big NO! With that said, it then means this P-500 is a better option in terms of rand value!

As good as the Chinese vehicle is, I don't think it will retain resale as well as the GR, Isuzu or even the Wildtrack, so if I am keeping the vehicle more than 5 years,then it has to be something not Chinese
Resale value always goes with demand. Bakkie lovers in this country are very biased, and they won’t risk millions on an untested high tech bakkie.
For the love of sunroof i might consider it on that bakkie but Ford is something else🤔
Let’s see what GWM can do that Mercedes couldn’t do with the X series. If they can give reliability, consistency and affordability for the next 15 years, they would create a different market and own it.
If I had a million to waste it would definitely be on a V6 Raptor but it’s my last million, it would be on a hilux
I don't agree with the power thing. The ford and VW feel very slow even with their V6 diesels. Also, for price you must consider this is bigger and has things those cars don't even come close to having. Although I do think the price should still be lower.
Yep agree..... Chinese vehicle lack power and usually higher fuel consumption....this is a good size though! We need bigger roads!
It's not the new P series but a P500,like there's BMW 7 series standard but there's also a 7 series with a long wheel base.A facelifted P series will come out late 2024 or early 2025.
They compare it with raptor for fuel consumption Chinese cars are bit heavy on fuel but raptor come on P series nothing can compare to that bakkie yo yo yo

I think they copied the dodge ram a bit.. it's a beautiful bakkie.. My heart is still with the Amarok even though it's now the Ama'ranger 😅

I dont think this replaces the normal P series. This is bigger than the normal bakkies it seems. That's why it's higher price. It's more like those American ones. Like the Toyota Tacoma etc.

Its a nice bakkie snd all bat mor of nissan and the lates ford weltrac look .way copy . All the bakkies gne look the same but then only the name different.
I don't have that kind of money but umna i'd never buy this bakkie overr the likes of isuzu xrider , toyota grs , ford ranger even the amarok . it looks very american inspired , good-lloking bakkie thou
