heyybii it's not for reaction time, the clock doesn't start till he passes the start line, so he was taking his time to get a good launch and set a good time
If that's the case why not use the launch control?
That's probably what he's figuring out. If you engage launch control right away, and the other guy takes too long to stage, all cars will eventually disengage launch control after so many seconds. I don't have experience in Chryslers to tell you exactly how they work, but its something along those lines...

It is listed at 11.6 from FCA, can't expect much more than that.
lmfscrew my SRT runs 11.8/11.9 and I'm not pushing as much boost as the Trackhawk. I think the Trackhawk just needs to be dyno tuned.

Antimatter weellll I look at it this way. It wasn't too long (50 years) ago that a Chrysler product was a mean muscle/luxury barge. A bit undescriptive perhaps but undeniably Chrysler. So is this one, a bit bland and long in the tooth, old-ish....... but I think there's were the aftermarket MAY step in nowadays. Some garnish here, fanboi spoilers and LED lights there. You know....mrsp be darned, you hardly have to make your hands dirty as the whole mechanical thing is computerized. THERE is the price hike.

I had 1340whp ‘07 srt Cherokee. Very fast. Traded it for Trackhawk. Notice that the Trackhawk raced and didn’t break. Watching your incredibly fast ride being hauled off by the tow truck gets old. Sitting on side of the road waiting for AAA is a drag. The Trackhawk can be very fast with less than 10k mods and maintain reliability. Or you can leave it alone and just have a great time streeting it, not holding your breath waiting for your next breakdown.
People hate it looks like a reg jeep srt but I see so much potential far a cosmectic upgrades!

Must be the ownership novelty in having a TrackHawk. I think the SRT8 Jeeps set a precedent when it could surprise a 350 - 450 hp sports car. That's no longer the case. These high HP cars nowadays would murder these TrackHawks. Nice truck, but not worth that kind of money. They need to drop the Demon mods in it and remove all the amenities, for the money.

Its GREAT! Cars always run fast at Atco!!! I'm not sure of the temp that day, but when it gets cold here, you start seeing some fast times (specially for stock cars). I got my stock 06 3v Mustang GT down to a 13.32@104mph STOCK back in the day (which was really fast for a lil 3v stang).
JohnnyGT nice! I did not know it was atco. I've heard much about both Atco and Englishtown, with atco being "faster" but englishtown having great prep. Here in Milwaukee, my nearest track I have yet to run in DA less than 800 the past 20 yrs. I read about negative DA with envy😀

Dodge Chrysler have been scamming people for years when the Hellcat first hit the scene they had commercials bragging 1090s out the showroom people ran out and bought them and couldn't run a 1090 with slicks then the demon 9.65 quarter mile but with slicks skinny front tires race gas no seats and a complicated launching setup with transbrake that the average person won't understand in street racing so it will probably be a 10-4 Streetcar now this 12-second trackhawk I guess whatever it takes to keep selling outdated body style vehicles

113-114 trap is very disappointing. My stock Challenger Hellcat would trap 122 on average with the stock tires.

I'm with you in that I'm surprised it only is pushing 114mph traps. I guess I was expecting more and even more mid 11's given it's AWD. I have an S4 that weighs in at 4k with me in it and it's putting down mid 11's at 119mph with ease. Was hoping to see the additional 230-240hp to put down better times and speeds than it did. I know it weights 1300lbs more but still.

This was held at I believe atco raceway in NJ. Now correct me if I'm wrong, that track is damn near sea level. The best trap this thing could pull was 114? Not worth $85k+ in my opinion. I have a 2015 SRT and I was all googly eyes over this, but now that I see this, I'm much better off taking that money and putting it into an upgraded trans, forged motor, and a Whipple. I'm curious if this Track hawk trans will mate up to a 6.4 without any issues. I don't trust Southern Hot Rods trans yet because I haven't seen too many people using their 8 speed.
